The episode starts with Mangal placing Kusum’s jewellery in Kusum’s locked locker, locking the food cupboard, and hiding the keys under the bed. Neel observes everything without Mangal’s knowledge. Mangal leaves the room to finish her work. Kusum returns home. Mangal gives her water and tells her that her jewellery has arrived and that she kept it in the locker in the room. Kusum says they should go to the bank to keep it because it’s risky to keep so much jewellery at home. Mangal replies they can go to the bank tomorrow. Kusum sees Sowmya has come and says she will handle it herself tomorrow. Sowmya thinks it will be difficult to erase Kusum’s love for Mangal.
Later that night, Neel steals the jewellery from the locker while his grandparents are asleep. Ishana wakes up for water, feels something is strange, and wonders if someone is in the grandparents’ room. She goes to the room, but Neel hides from her. After Ishana leaves, Neel escapes.
The next day, Kusum calls everyone and says a thief has stolen all her jewellery. Everyone panics and discusses how it could have happened. Neel arrives and questions why they are creating drama in the morning. Ishana tells Mangal that when she woke up for water last night she sensed someone in the grandparents’ room and now fears she was right. Neel argues with her. Adit asks them to stop. Kusum, in tears, tells Adit that it was her wedding jewellery. Adit suggests searching the entire house. Neel thinks that if anyone finds the jewellery on him, they will never forgive him.
After searching, they don’t find the jewellery. Adit says he will call the police and lodge a complaint. At that moment, Neel removes his coat and an earring falls out. Kusum sees it. Neel quickly holds his ear as if apologetic and hides the earring. Kusum asks Adit not to call the police and then remembers that she put her jewellery in the bank locker. Mangal asks when she went to the locker. Kusum says this morning and that she forgot to mention it. Mangal says she didn’t see her go out. Kusum insists she is telling the truth and asks them to stop questioning her, telling everyone to end the matter and go about their work. Kusum glares at Neel and leaves.
Later, in the room, Kusum scolds Neel for committing robbery in his own home. Neel falls at Kusum’s feet and fabricates a story, saying he stole the jewellery to pay for his mother’s treatment, asking her to understand. Kusum says he could have asked them for money. Neel replies that no one would have believed him, which is why he stole. He begs Kusum to forgive him while holding her feet. Kusum tells him his intentions may be good, but his method was wrong. Neel promises he will not repeat his mistake and insists he didn’t steal the jewellery to party with friends. Kusum offers that he can ask for whatever he needs from them. Sowmya hears everything and realises Kusum is trying to protect Neel. Sowmya thinks this is a golden opportunity for her.
While doing laundry, Mangal finds a slip in Neel’s jeans showing he took ₹3 lakhs from the jeweller. She understands Neel is the thief and that Kusum is hiding the truth. Sowmya smirks. Mangal confronts Neel with the jeweller’s receipt dated today. Adit asks what happened. Mangal accuses Neel of selling the stolen jewellery. Kusum asks Mangal to stop accusing Neel.

Precap: Sowmya decides to use Neel to take revenge on Mangal. She notices that Neel has scattered things around the couch. Sowmya pretends to fall by stepping on those items.
Sowmya is admitted to the hospital by the Saxena family. Adit asks Mangal and Kusum who put those things there. Neel tries to speak up, but Mangal stops him and says Sowmya is the one who placed them. Adit tells Mangal he believes she did it intentionally and warns her that if anything happens to his baby, he will not spare her.
