The episode starts with Barkha trying to talk to Karthik, but he doesn’t respond. Barkha asks him if he is even listening to her. Karthik says he is listening but he has a headache, and he walks away. Barkha thinks Karthik is really sweet and decides to arrange his clothes to improve his mood. While doing so, she finds a torn photograph of Karthik dressed as a groom. After seeing the photo, Barkha assumes that Karthik was married in the past and that his wife left him, which is why he remains sad and unable to move on. Determined to know the truth, Barkha decides to find out who Karthik’s ex-wife is. When she sees Karthik coming out of the washroom, she quickly hides the photograph under her feet. Karthik asks what she is doing, but Barkha tells him it is nothing.
Lakshmi places the bangles gifted by Dadi into the bangle box and keeps it in the cupboard before going to the washroom.
Bhavani sneaks into Lakshmi’s room, swaps the bangle box with another one containing cash and receipts, and vows to take revenge on Lakshmi for humiliating Vyom.
Lakshmi serves food to Dadi, Bhavani, and Barkha. Bhavani asks Lakshmi to serve her personally, then deliberately spills food on her. She apologises and uses a liquid to secretly wash the bangles. Later, she pretends to notice something unusual about them and claims they look silver instead of gold. Bhavani accuses Lakshmi of selling the original bangles and replacing them with fake ones. Dadi refuses to believe it and asks Lakshmi to check where she kept them.
They all go to Lakshmi’s room. Lakshmi shows the box but Bhavani checks the drawer and finds cash and receipts. She again accuses Lakshmi and tries to throw her out. Lakshmi insists she is innocent. Dadi says she can read people’s eyes and trusts Lakshmi. Lakshmi asks for time to prove her innocence, and Dadi agrees. Bhavani warns that if Lakshmi fails to prove her innocence by tonight, she must leave the house. Lakshmi accepts.
Lakshmi cooks in the kitchen. Karan arrives and pours milk on her, questioning why she agreed to such a condition. He reminds her that he brought her there and she will leave only with his permission. Lakshmi throws atta on his face to teach him a lesson. Karan makes comments and wipes his face with her saree.
Barkha tries searching online for details about Karthik’s past but finds nothing. She asks her manager Ashish to find out about Karthik’s ex-wife at any cost. Barkha believes she must know his past to grow closer to him.
Lakshmi cleans her saree and notices a pain-relief patch in the room.
Karthik receives a call from his friend in Delhi and gets to know that Ashish is trying to dig up his past. He grows worried that Barkha may find out about Lakshmi.
Lakshmi contacts JJ Jewellers and asks for their CCTV footage to identify who framed her. Meanwhile, Bhavani accidentally spills coffee on herself. As Lakshmi leaves, Bhavani becomes anxious because she was the one who ordered the fake bangles. Fearful of getting exposed, she decides to take action.
Lakshmi recalls seeing Bhavani instructing the nurse to apply a pain-relief patch on her shoulder, and concludes that Bhavani is the one who swapped the bangles.

Precap: Bhavani tries to break the pen-drive, but Lakshmi, disguised as a delivery man, catches her. Lakshmi grabs Bhavani near the balcony and demands the truth.
