The episode opens with a wave of unrest spreading through the minds of Queenie, Vikram, and Diljit. The trio has recently stumbled upon several disturbing revelations regarding Krishna and Khushi, revelations that shake their confidence and leave them mentally unsettled. Their confusion deepens as they try to decipher Baldev’s meticulous strategy, which now appears far more calculated than they initially imagined.
Although they cannot definitively determine whether Krishna is truly Dimpy’s biological son, one thing seems clear to them: Khushi does not appear to be Krishna’s genuine wife. Each time the couple is questioned or asked to perform any task together, Khushi’s visible embarrassment and nervous hesitation convince them that something is amiss. Sensing an opportunity, Queenie and Anushka conspire to create a trap—one designed to expose the supposed falseness of Krishna and Khushi’s relationship before everyone.
Meanwhile, Nandu arrives in Khushi’s room to remind the couple to get ready for the grand party being hosted at the Mehra house. As soon as Nandu leaves, the tension between Krishna and Khushi becomes evident. Both of them appear anxious, unsure how they will manage to keep their act intact in front of so many people. Krishna, however, reassures Khushi and attempts to calm her trembling nerves. Despite his comforting words, Khushi remains frightened and uneasy about the situation. Queenie watches them carefully during these moments. Initially, witnessing their awkward body language strengthens her belief that they are not a real couple. But when Krishna accidentally stumbles and Khushi instinctively grabs his hand to steady him, Queenie is left even more perplexed. The spontaneous moment of closeness does not fit with her assumption, and doubts begin to re-emerge in her mind.
The atmosphere becomes livelier as Jhanak and Inspector Rishi make their entrance at the Mehra family’s celebration. Jhanak wastes no time in confronting Khushi privately. She questions how Khushi managed to enter and stay in the Mehra household despite having no legitimate marital relationship with Krishna. Khushi, flustered and distressed, shares the entire truth with Jhanak in secrecy and pleads with her not to reveal the matter to anyone. At the same time, Rishi approaches Krishna and directly questions him about why he is pretending to be Mr. Mehra’s grandson. Krishna explains everything, especially emphasizing his mother’s situation. His heartfelt explanation convinces Rishi, who promises to support Krishna and help him out of any potential trouble. Shortly after, the couple is introduced to all the distinguished guests attending the party.
Anushka, still determined to unmask them, devises a set of personal questions that she believes will expose gaps in Krishna and Khushi’s knowledge about one another. She and Queenie feel confident that the two barely know each other deeply enough to pass as husband and wife. These questions, if answered incorrectly, will supposedly reveal their fabricated relationship.
As the party continues, Aradhana takes over as the event host. She invites Krishna and Khushi to come up on stage to participate in a playful question-answer round. They are handed separate slates so that they cannot see each other’s responses. However, much to Queenie and Anushka’s disbelief, Krishna and Khushi end up giving identical answers. They recall earlier moments and conversations to remain consistent, and in subtle ways, Jhanak and Rishi also help guide them. Their coordinated responses completely foil Queenie and Anushka’s plan, leaving the schemers frustrated and furious.
The night reaches its peak when Baldev and Nandita welcome Mika Singh to perform at the celebration. The couple enjoys his energetic musical performance immensely. Towards the end of the show, Mika warmly congratulates Krishna and Khushi for their charming chemistry, further strengthening the illusion of their romantic bond.
