The episode starts with Sowmya asking Mangal what she plans to do now, as her pastry chef has also left. She reminds Mangal that she is uncomfortable working with eggs, questioning how she will prepare a professional three-tier cake. Bhabhiji asks Sowmya what she is doing at Mangal’s counter. Sowmya replies that she is just helping and steps back.
Mangal throws the eggs into the dustbin, then takes bananas and other ingredients from the pantry and begins preparing an eggless cake. Simultaneously, she garnishes the kebab. Sowmya notices this and thinks she cannot let Mangal win. She signals Nidhi to do something. Nidhi tampers with one of the sticks to spoil Mangal’s cake.
Bhabhiji announces that all contestants must present their dishes in two minutes. Mangal finishes everything on time. She sends her dishes with Ritu and starts carrying the three-tier cake. Suddenly, the cake slips from her hands and falls. Sowmya smirks, thinking Mangal cannot remake the cake in one minute. The other contestants head out with their dishes. Mangal prays to Maata Rani to help her, as she doesn’t want to lose the competition.
The other contestants assume Mangal has run away because her cake slipped. The anchor announces that time is up, but Mangal arrives just in time with a cake. Sowmya is confused, wondering how Mangal managed to prepare it in one minute. Bhabhiji says she will decide who gets eliminated after tasting the dishes.
Bhabhiji begins tasting the cakes. When it is Mangal’s turn, she opens the box. Bhabhiji sees a small cake and questions it. It is shown that Mangal made a small cake using the edible portion of the fallen cake. The other contestants mock her, saying it cannot be a wedding cake and looks like a toy. They taunt her, saying she cannot save her marriage or her cake.
Bhabhiji confronts Mangal. Mangal explains that she prepared the cake with three flavours as mentioned in the rules and made a three-layered cake suitable for a small wedding, as not all weddings are grand. Bhabhiji agrees, saying she had not specified the cake’s size or height, so she will not reject it — but that doesn’t mean Mangal is safe. She says Mangal’s dish must still compete with the others. Bhabhiji tastes the cake and walks away.
The anchor announces that one contestant will be eliminated. Sowmya wishes for Mangal’s elimination. Bhabhiji reveals the results. The anchor announces the safe contestants, leaving only Mangal and Pallavi. Bhabhiji says Pallavi’s cake lacks flavour and is burnt, and despite its perfect appearance, she prefers taste over decoration. She declares Mangal safe. Pallavi gets eliminated. Mangal thanks Bhabhiji. Bhabhiji tells her she got another chance only because someone performed worse and warns her to be careful in the upcoming rounds.
