The episode begins with Aviraj looking at the divorce papers. He asks Dayanand if Kajal really sent them. Dayanand lies and says yes. Aviraj questions why Kajal would suddenly send divorce papers when they are already living separately. Dayanand manipulates him, saying that if Kajal is released from jail, she will create problems between them. Aviraj’s mother adds that Kajal has her eye on Dayanand and his property. Aviraj questions her for speaking like this and asks Dayanand to tell him the truth. Dayanand lies again, claiming that Kajal offered to sleep with him for money. Aviraj refuses to believe it, but Dayanand insists Kajal said it herself since she and her brother need financial help.
Dayanand’s man arrives and tells him that Kajal wants to meet him and is ready to respond. Dayanand says he will go to the jail. He tells Aviraj to rest and that they will decide what to do once he returns. He asks Aviraj’s mother to take care of him and leaves.
In jail, Kajal throws the divorce papers away. She recalls Dayanand’s disgusting demand to spend a night with him in exchange for her release. She also remembers Saurav and Sharad’s warnings not to trust Aviraj. Dayanand arrives and asks her what decision she has taken.
Back home, Aviraj’s mother asks him not to think too much and reminds him how much Dayanand has helped them. She pressurises him to divorce Kajal. Aviraj says he has done a lot for Dayanand as well and thinks of speaking to Kajal before making any decision. His mother continues forcing him to sign the papers.
Kajal tears the divorce papers in front of Dayanand and throws them at him. She says she is ready to rot in jail rather than bend to his demands. She tells him to inform Aviraj that she will never divorce him. Dayanand tries to talk, but Damini arrives and says her client does not want to speak to him. She warns him to stop harassing Kajal and leave. Dayanand threatens that he will ensure Kajal never comes out of jail and challenges Damini to save her if she can.
Aviraj is about to sign the divorce papers when Bindi arrives and hugs him. He stops midway. Aviraj’s mother asks who she is. Bindi introduces herself as Aviraj and Mahi’s friend and takes her blessings. Aviraj sends Bablu to take his mother outside. She reminds him not to forget signing the papers. Meanwhile, Damini tells Kajal that they will need Aviraj’s help now that Bindi knows him. She feels Aviraj has realised he is Bindi’s father and may support Kajal.
Outside, Bindi asks Aviraj to eat something, saying her mother believes decisions made on an empty stomach are wrong. She feeds him. While taking out a tissue, the data card containing evidence against Dayanand falls from her bag.
