The episode starts with Barkha getting scared when she sees Lakshmi appearing in her room like a ghost. The cameras start clicking. Barkha says Lakshmi cannot scare her because she knows she is there. Lakshmi leaves. Barkha immediately calls her family. Everyone rushes to her room. Karan tries to console her. Barkha tells Karan that Lakshmi was there. Jaan and Vyom go to check and say it was just a mannequin. Barkha insists that she installed cameras in her room and they captured Lakshmi. She shows the photos to Karan. Karan says the images only show Barkha and that Lakshmi is nowhere in them. Barkha is shocked. She says she saw Lakshmi herself and doesn’t know why she wasn’t captured. Karan says Lakshmi is dead—that’s why she cannot appear in photos—and asks Barkha to accept it. He leaves. Barkha, scared to sleep alone, goes to Dadi’s room.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi’s saree gets stuck in the table fan. As Lakshmi steps back, the fan falls and her neck gets strangled. Karan hears the sound and goes towards the room, thinking he might be hallucinating like Barkha. Lakshmi bravely frees herself and hides. Karan leaves. Lakshmi feels relieved that no one saw her.
Lakshmi then sees her reflection in the mirror and recalls how she escaped from the police jeep before it exploded. She came home to meet Karan but discovered the phone and number from which Karthik received the message were burnt. She realises someone from the Kapoor family is behind Karthik’s murder. To expose the culprit, she begins her ghost drama and intentionally shifts the cameras toward Barkha to avoid getting captured. Seeing Karthik’s photo, she says she failed to save him but will find his murderer and ensure they are punished.
The next day, Barkha prepares to leave for work. Karan asks her to stay home for a few days, but she refuses. Karan agrees and accompanies her to the office. Lakshmi, finding the house empty, searches for evidence. She finds a photo of Karan holding the same knife used to stab Karthik and assumes Karan is the murderer. She decides to kill him.
When Karan returns home, he sees a message on the mirror accusing him of killing Karthik. Confused about who is trying to frame him, he touches the mirror and it explodes, injuring his hand. Lakshmi watches in satisfaction. Dadi and the family rush in and ask what happened. Karan says he doesn’t know.
Later, unable to sleep, Karan steps out to get some fresh air. When he opens the window, he sees Lakshmi walking away in a white saree. He runs after her and asks her to stop, saying he knows it’s her and he wants to talk. Suddenly, a rope drops around his neck and he is pulled up onto a tree. Lakshmi believes he is Karthik’s killer and deserves death.
Dadi asks Barkha not to be scared, but they both hear Karan shouting from the garden. They rush out, see Karan hanging, and scream for help. The guard cuts the rope and saves him. Lakshmi watches and says Karan was saved today, but not next time.
