The episode opens with Mika arriving at the Mehra residence to give a lively and memorable performance. His presence energises the entire family, and he takes a special moment to encourage Khushi and Krishna, praising their newly married life. To make the evening more enjoyable, he invites them to join him on stage for one of his romantic songs. This puts Khushi in a very uncomfortable position, as the idea of dancing romantically with Krishna makes her feel awkward and self-conscious. However, refusing is not an option, and both of them must go ahead with the performance. Sensing her nervousness, Krishna gently reassures her and advises her to imagine her future husband in him so she can dance without hesitation or embarrassment. With this comforting thought, Khushi slowly gains confidence. Together, they convincingly portray a loving couple, and their graceful, romantic dance wins the admiration of everyone present. Nandita blesses them affectionately, praying for their happiness and a safe, secure future.
Once the performance ends, Khushi and Krishna step away from the crowd to discuss how difficult and awkward it is for both of them to continue this pretence of a perfect married life. While they are talking honestly about their feelings, Anushka secretly records their entire conversation, hoping to use it later to expose the truth about their relationship. But before she can execute her plan, Khushi discovers Anushka’s intentions. With Sameer’s timely help, she stops Anushka from leaking the recording to the family. Anushka is left frustrated and heartbroken as yet another attempt to unveil the truth fails.
The following day brings Khushi’s rasoi ceremony, and several family members—Khyati, Baa, Manoj, Manisha, Pari and Ritwik—arrive to participate in the ritual and meet the newlywed couple. During the interactions, everyone curiously asks Khushi about the dishes she plans to prepare for her first ceremonial cooking. Krishna, trying to impress the relatives, proudly tells them that Khushi is highly skilled and can prepare some exceptional dishes. His enthusiastic exaggeration leaves Khushi confused, irritated and worried, as she never claimed to be capable of such expertise.
Despite her anger, Khushi gathers herself and starts preparing the dishes one by one in the kitchen. While she is away for a moment, Anushka quietly enters the kitchen and deliberately ruins the food by adding excessive salt and sugar, hoping to embarrass Khushi in front of everyone. Later, during the dinner, all the dishes are served to the guests. To Anushka, Queenie, Vikram and Diljit’s utter shock, the guests highly praise the taste and quality of Khushi’s cooking. Their plot has failed spectacularly once again. Pleased with her effort, Baldev decides to give Khushi a special gift. To honour her father’s decision, Queenie presents Khushi with a golden bangle. Khushi, however, humbly declines to accept such an expensive gift and instead seeks her blessings.
It is later revealed that Krishna had witnessed Anushka tampering with the food. With the support of Leela and Manisha, Khushi quickly prepared the entire meal again, successfully tricking Queenie and Vikram. Khyati and Manoj further helped by keeping Queenie occupied, ensuring the plan succeeded without interruption.
