The episode starts with Sowmya asking Mangal if she can complete the challenge with one hand. Mangal says she will prepare besan soup with one hand without any lumps. Mangal can’t find the lighter to ignite the stove. Sowmya thinks to herself that she hid the lighter. She gives Mangal a matchbox instead. Mangal uses a trick and lights the stove. Everyone feels amused. Bhabhiji tells Sowmya that Mangal not only works well but also knows clever tricks. Sowmya says the real challenge is ahead and asks Mangal to prepare the soup without lumps. Mangal places the bottle in a way that water drips slowly and begins stirring. Everyone claps for her. Bhabhiji asks the contestants to continue their tasks. Mangal starts preparing chawal.
Bhabhiji tells Sowmya that her points will be reduced if Mangal completes the task successfully. Sowmya tells Mangal she wants roti instead of chawal. Mangal says she cannot change the task midway. Sowmya insists she can. Mangal takes the flour, puts it inside a packet, and kneads it with one hand. Bhabhiji tells Sowmya that Mangal is already ahead and she cannot beat her. Mangal prepares the roti. Other contestants say Mangal is brave and that they could never complete such a challenge if they were in her place.
Bhabhiji tells Sowmya that Mangal has almost completed the challenge. Sowmya says she won’t let her win. Mangal goes to keep her kulfi in the fridge but sees that the fridge has no power. Sowmya says the round is not easy and tells her to face it. Bhabhiji announces that 10 minutes are left. Mangal sees gas to use in kulfi making. Sowmya thinks this is exactly what she wanted. She releases Mangal’s hand so Mangal can take the gas. She places marbles on the floor to make Mangal fall, but Mangal avoids them and finishes her dishes on time. Sowmya feels defeated.
Bhabhiji tastes Mangal’s food and praises it. She says Mangal has proved she doesn’t leave the field when faced with challenges and announces that Mangal is promoted to the next round. Mangal thanks her. As Sowmya walks away angrily, the remaining marbles roll on the floor. Mangal rushes to save Sowmya, slips, and the gas can also falls, spilling liquid that injures Mangal’s eyes. Everyone becomes worried.
Adit receives a call from his boss asking him to come home. Mangal says she is unable to open her eyes. Ritu tells Sowmya that Mangal saved her and her daughter. Sowmya replies that good things happen to good people, and bad things happen to bad people. Bhabhiji hears this and scolds the contestants, saying humanity should not be forgotten and they are responsible for Mangal’s condition. She asks Sowmya to take Mangal to the hospital in her car. Sowmya says she feels stressed and leaves.
Bhabhiji asks where her PA is. Adit arrives wearing a mask. Bhabhiji confronts him and asks where the doctor is and why he is wearing a mask. Adit gives a silly excuse, thinking he wore the mask to hide from Sowmya so she doesn’t find out he works as Bhabhiji’s PA. Asir says it’s Mangal who is injured. The doctor arrives, and Bhabhiji asks him to examine Mangal.
Sowmya applies a face pack and enjoys in her room. Kusum calls out Mangal’s name to give her medicine. Sowmya hears it but shuts the door, plays music, and dances. Kusum wonders why she took Mangal’s name suddenly and hopes she is fine. Bhabhiji asks the doctor about Mangal’s condition. The doctor says Mangal must use the eye drops every two hours or her eyes may be permanently damaged. He says Mangal needs someone’s support until she recovers. Mangal worries about her kids and her responsibilities. The doctor advises her not to go home alone and not to cook until she is better.
Bhabhiji says she will arrange for Mangal to be dropped home safely. She asks Adit to take her. Adit worries that Mangal may recognise his voice and wonders how she will react knowing he works as Bhabhiji’s PA. He takes Mangal with him.
