The episode starts with Adit bringing Mangal home in the car. He changes his voice and tells her that they have reached her house. Mangal thanks him. Because of the liquid mishap, she is unable to see properly, walks in the wrong direction, and is about to meet with an accident on the main road. Adit shouts her name and saves her in time. He scolds her for walking the wrong way and says she may not be able to see, but she can hear. Mangal apologises and asks how he knew she couldn’t see. Adit says he guessed it and asks what happened to her eyes. Mangal explains that some liquid splashed into her eyes during the cooking show, and her vision has been blurry since then. Adit asks how she is managing. Mangal replies that she can manage and can see slightly.
Sowmya sits in the hall selecting dresses online. Kusum comes in and asks if she is feeling unwell and if they need to visit a doctor. Sowmya feels irritated but hides it, saying she is fine and will rest before preparing food. Kusum stops her, reminding her she is pregnant, and says she will cook instead. Sowmya thinks she is glad Kusum will handle the work and that she won’t have to face Mangal at the competition.
Adit brings Mangal inside. Kusum asks what happened to her. Adit says some “ice-cream making liquid” entered Mangal’s eyes and, since Akshat is away on a school trip, she cannot manage alone. He adds that the doctor advised Mangal not to strain her eyes, so it’s better she stays here. Sowmya questions how Adit is so sure they can’t leave Mangal alone. Adit says it’s common sense and he cannot leave her in this condition, or he won’t be able to answer his kids. He asks Sowmya to get water for Mangal. Sowmya feels irritated.
Kusum scolds Mangal, asking how someone who has worked in the kitchen for years could get into such a mess and injure her eyes. She says she doesn’t understand why such things always happen to Mangal and points out that Sowmya also works there but nothing happened to her. Sowmya thinks she has successfully lowered Mangal’s image in Kusum’s eyes and hopes Mangal doesn’t reveal that she was injured while saving her. Mangal only says it was an accident. Kusum continues scolding her without listening.
Bhabhi Ji arrives and rebukes Kusum. Kusum asks who she is. Adit hides on seeing her. Sowmya greets Bhabhi Ji. Bhabhi Ji asks Kusum why she is shouting at Mangal without knowing the truth. When Sowmya tries to stop her, Bhabhi Ji silences her and reveals that Mangal saved Sowmya and landed in trouble because of it. She adds that Sowmya created several problems for Mangal during the round, yet Mangal still saved her and her baby. Mangal asks Bhabhi Ji how she knew she was here. Bhabhi Ji says she went to her home and learned she was here.
Bhabhi Ji says Mangal is special and she has never seen such a selfless person. Kusum agrees that Mangal is truly special. Bhabhi Ji questions Sowmya for not informing the family about Mangal saving her. Sowmya claims she was about to tell them. Bhabhi Ji asks her to call her husband so she can tell him how his ex saved his present wife. Mangal interrupts, saying it’s a family matter and her mother will take care of her. Bhabhi Ji also reminds Kusum that Mangal had earlier left her competition to come save her.
Bhabhi Ji says tomorrow is the final round and that the Pehla Swad finalist will be selected within 24 hours. She advises Mangal to be careful and leaves.
Sowmya goes to her room and confronts Adit, asking why he didn’t come out to support her and allowed Bhabhi Ji to insult her. Adit says he knows nothing about the competition and was bathing. Sowmya asks how he knew they were discussing the competition if he was bathing, and points out he doesn’t look like he took a bath. Adit thinks to himself that he cannot let Sowmya know he works as Bhabhi Pa.
