Zee TV’s Saru is gearing up for an intense confrontation as tensions in the household reach a breaking point. Tara lashes out at Gauri, claiming that a woman who does not know her husband’s name has no right to apply sindoor. In a humiliating act, Tara pours water over Gauri’s hairline, washing away her sindoor and deeply wounding her dignity. Saru intervenes, reminding Tara that her actions are unacceptable and disrespectful.
But Tara refuses to stop. She declares that if Saru believes her mother is so virtuous, Gauri should perform her prayers elsewhere, because she will no longer be allowed to stay in this house. Tara forcefully grabs Gauri’s hand to throw her out, prompting Saru to step forward and push Tara away in order to protect her mother. Tara loses her balance, but Ved arrives just in time and catches her.
Seeing this, Ved completely misunderstands the situation and assumes Saru misbehaved with Tara. He immediately demands that Saru apologise. However, Saru stands firm. She tells Ved that just as he respects his mother, she will always respect hers—and therefore she will not apologise under any circumstances.
