The episode starts with the story taking a leap to 2010 from 1998.
All the customers in Krishna’s hotel ask Surya to take out their name from the bowl. Surya says he will not take the name from the bowl. Krishna says the person who came up with this scheme will take out the chit from the bowl. Deepa comes to Krishna’s hotel. Deepa takes out Gautam’s name from the bowl and says he will eat free food in the hotel today. Krishna praises Deepa the one who has came up with this scheme as all the customers in this hotel will have their names written on a chit and put in a bowl and whose name will come out of bowl will have free food but the customers who have got their name written here should all eat the food in the hotel. The customers praise Deepa for coming up with this scheme. Krishna asks Deepa to go and study and he gets back to work. Krishna talks about Sumitra to Deepa and asks Deepa to never lose this locket as this is last momento of her mother. Deepa agrees.
Bhagyasree brings Kanika and karthik to the temple. Kanika notices the lotus flowers in the pond. Karthik comes to Kanika and asks Kanika what is she doing here. Kanika pleads Karthik to get her flowers from the pond. Karthik reminds Kanika that he is afraid of water. Kanika still insists Karthik to get her lotus from the pond.
Karthik goes into the pond. Karthik drowns in the water. Kanika goes to her mother for help. Deepa passes by the temple. Deepa rescues Karthik by bringing him out of the water and makes Karthik puke the water.
Bhagyasree and Kanika come to Karthik. Karthik regains consciousness. Bhagyasree asks Karthik why has he gone into the water when he is afraid of water. Karthik says Kanika has made him go into the water to get her flowers. Bhagyasree hearing it scolds Kanika and reprimands Kanika. Bhagyasree thanks Deepa for saving Karthik. Deepa comments on it. Deepa offers flowers to Karthik saying he got into the water for these flowers right. Kanika says to Deepa that she wanted those flowers and takes the flowers from Deepa and leaves from there. Karthik also leaves with them.
Karthik later comes to Deepa and thanks Deepa for saving him and makes a promise to Deepa that he will help her in the future. Deepa agrees. Karthik gets into the car and leaves from there.
Karthik notices the locket in his pocket and thinks it belongs to the girl who has saved him. Deepa notices she has lost her mother’s locket.
Krishna works in his home and Deepa studies in home. Vijayanthi witnesses it and comments on Krishna as he works from morning to night for Deepa and Deepa avoids work in the name of studying. Vijayanthi says she is worried that he will die one day overworking for Deepa. Deepa feels deeply hurt by Vijayanthi’s words. Krishna takes Vijayanthi aside and reprimands her for her behaviour. Vijayanthi reminds Krishna that Deepa is not his own blood and she is a girl and instead of making her study like this she should be taught house hold work to manage the house after marriage and says they can do Deepa’s marriage to her son Bhanu. Krishna doesn’t agree as Bhanu acts like a rogue and comments on it. Krishna comes out of the house and doesn’t find Deepa. Krishna goes looking for Deepa.
Krishna grinds Deepa after awhile and asks Deepa where has she gone. Deepa says to Krishna that she has gone to give her books to Pooja as she doesn’t want to study anymore. Krishna demands Deepa to study for her. Deepa doesn’t agree and warns Krishna that if he insists she will leave him. Krishna asks Deepa not to do that.
The story takes a leap again and now it is 2025. Deepa is shown to selling breakfast for people and she also doesn’t take money from people who do not have it.
Jyoti waits for her father. Deepa comes to the school and greets her daughter Jyoti and says they are going to go to Mela today. Jyoti asks Deepa if father is going to come there. Deepa stays silent. Jyoti leaves from there. The teacher asks Deepa why doesn’t she tell Jyoti where is her father. Deepa says she doesn’t know the answer and comments on it.
Episode ends.
Precap:-A debtor comes to Deepa and asks Deepa to think of him as her husband then he will forget about the debt. Deepa slaps him.
The debtor brings people and creates a scene as her husband has taken debt 6 years ago and they haven’t repaid it till now. Deepa says she will find her husband and repay their debt also pretty soon.
