The episode begins with Aditi tells Rishi that she wants Jhanak’s innocence to be proved so Jhanak can focus on her studies. Else Jhanak will be called a thief. Rishi asks her to tell Aniruddh to forgive Jhanak. Aditi asks him why she should do that when he thinks Jhanak is innocent. Rishi says the original culprit will escape because of a lack of proof, but Jhanak will suffer. Aditi asks him what if Jhanak is the original culprit. She says she wants an investigation to happen. Rishi tells her that he understood this game. Aditi asks him why she would bring Jhanak to the house if she wanted to frame Jhanak then. She says Jhanak is human, and humans make mistakes.
Rishi says he was wrong to think Aditi will understand his point. Aditi tells him that it looks like he also doesn’t trust Jhanak; that’s why he wants Aniruddh to withdraw the case. Because if Rishi trusts Jhanak, then he won’t be afraid of the investigation. She tells him that he is hurting her by not understanding her. And she knows Rishi doesn’t trust her either. Rishi asks her to think about why he doesn’t trust her. Aditi asks him whether he is blaming her for this too. She says his love for her is vanishing. Rishi tells her that everything is happening because of her changed behavior. He says the truth will come out in this investigation. And leaves from there.
Later, Rishi greets his senior officer. A senior officer reveals Jhanak’s fingerprints are found on the jewel. Rishi asks whether only Jhanak’s fingerprints were found on the jewel. The senior officer says many others’ fingerprints were also found, but they are family. And only Jhanak is an outsider, so she is the suspected one. Rishi says if Jhanak’s fingerprints are found on the jewel, then that does not mean she is the culprit.
The senior officer reminds Rishi that the jewel was found on Jhanak’s bag. He says Jhanak and Mishti’s fingerprints were found on the bag. Putul says there is a possibility that Mishti kept the jewel in Jhanak’s bag. Mishti asks Putul how the latter can accuse her. Tanushri scolds Putul. The senior officer says he has proof. Aditi says she will withdraw the case if Jhanak apologizes then.
Aniruddh and Arshi come there. Aniruddh asks the senior officer why the latter has not arrested Jhanak yet. Rishi asks the senior officer not to do this because Jhanak is not a thief. The senior officer asks Rishi who else stole. Rishi says it’s a trap and a family member is involved in this. The senior officer says he could not believe Rishi is against his family for an outsider. He warns Rishi to stay away, or else he will take action against the latter.
Jhanak says she stole Aditi’s jewel. Rishi asks her to not lie. Neelu says Rishi can accuse them for Jhanak. Indumati tells Rishi that he has become mad. Mishti tells Rishi that her and Jhanak’s fingerprints are found in Jhanak’s bag because she helped Jhanak to bring the bag. But Rishi trusts Jhanak only. Payal asks Rishi not to get involved in this matter.
Rishi says he did wrong by bringing Jhanak there. And he knows Jhanak did not steal. Aniruddh says Rishi is ready to send his sister to jail for Jhanak. Arshi says she regrets letting Aditi marry Rishi. Rishi tells his senior officer that Jhanak is a talented girl and she is innocent. The senior officer tells Rishi that he trusts proofs only. He asks Jhanak to come with him to the police station. Rishi requests the senior officer not to arrest Jhanak because she is studying. Indumati asks the senior officer to punish Jhanak if he has proof against Jhanak then.
Rishi says he won’t let the senior officer arrest Jhanak. A senior officer says Rishi may lose his job. Rishi says he will fight for Jhanak till the end, and he is not scared to lose his job. Jhanak tells Rishi that she understands his intention, but she doesn’t want him to get involved in this. She says this is her fight, and she will fight. Rishi tells her that she can’t fight alone. He asks Aniruddh to stop all this. Aniruddh denies. Rishi says now this case will go to the court. And he knows how to save Jhanak. Jhanak asks him to calm down. Rishi asks Jhanak not to get scared. Police take Jhanak from there.
On the other side, Dritimaan says he did not expect Sanjhbati to come to meet him. Dritimaan tells her that he decided to go back abroad. Sanjhbati asks him whether he doesn’t care about his family’s feelings. Dritimaan says his family would be habituated to living without him. And he is not able to tolerate it; she won’t be with him in India. Sanjhbati tells him that she understands him. She says she dreamt of living with him, but that dream won’t become reality. Because she can’t go against her family. And she trusts one day her family will accept him. She asks him to give her some time. Dritimaan says he doesn’t have hope. He tells her about Jhanak’s case. Sanjhbati tells him that Jhanak is not that kind of girl.
Meanwhile, Aditi tells her parents that Jhanak is really dangerous. And Jhanak may ruin Aniruddh’s image in front of the media. Arshi tells Aditi that she knows about Aniruddh and Nutan’s relationship. She asks Aniruddh whether Jhanak is his daughter. Aniruddh tells her that Jhanak is not his daughter. Aditi asks him to withdraw his case. Arshi says Aniruddh is scared Jhanak will be proved right. Aniruddh says he cares about his reputation. Arshi tells him that his priority should be Aditi and Rishi’s relationship, not his reputation.
Aditi says nothing is true in this case, so Jhanak may get a clean chit in court. So Aniruddh should withdraw the case. Aniruddh refuses to withdraw the case. Arshi says Rishi won’t let Jhanak lose. And they should trap Jhanak in any other case. Aniruddh asks her what that case is. Arshi says Jhanak is in Rishi’s heart, so they should involve Jhanak and another guy. Aditi says she won’t lose Rishi to Jhanak.
