The episode starts with Ishana telling Mangal and her family that someone created a fake video using her face through technology. She says, if her own family believed the fake video, then others will also believe it once it is uploaded. Mangal says, “I trust you, dear.” She asks Ishana why she thought of ending her life when she knew the video was fake. Mangal tells her that if anything happens, she should inform them so they can find a solution.
Ishana recalls how her friends mocked her and called her a dirty girl. Feeling anxious, she hugs Mangal and cries, saying that her friend humiliated her and she felt everything was over, so she tried to end her life without thinking about her family. She apologises for her drastic action. Mangal says it’s not her fault, and society is full of wrong people. She promises to find out who created the fake video and ensure they are punished. Adit leaves from there. Mangal asks Kusum to stay with Ishana, saying she has some work. Ishana asks Mangal not to leave, saying she needs her. Mangal assures her she will return soon and leaves.
Adit calls his friend and asks him to find out who created and uploaded the fake video, and says he is on the way. Bhabhi ji asks the contestants to fill out the forms as only two days are left for the finals. She asks Sowmya about Mangal. Sowmya says Mangal cannot come, but Mangal arrives. Sowmya feels disappointed. Mangal tells Bhabhi ji that she is withdrawing from the competition because she needs to take care of her daughter, Ishana. Bhabhi ji reminds her that she once said a woman can balance her family and work life, yet now she is leaving her dream for family issues. She says Mangal has proved her point. Mangal says her daughter needs her more right now, and it is her responsibility, so she must quit the competition. She apologises. Bhabhi ji says she still has two days to change her decision and the competition will wait for her if she returns. Mangal leaves. Sowmya thinks Mangal will never come back.
Mangal tries to feed Ishana. Adit comes home angrily. Mangal asks him what happened and tells him not to say anything to Ishana. Adit suddenly slaps Neel. Shocked, Mangal asks why he hit him. Adit says Neel is the one who uploaded Ishana’s MMS on the internet. Neel denies it. Adit says he has proof and shows it. Mangal confronts Neel. Neel swears he didn’t do it. He says if Adit wants to beat someone, he should beat Ishana instead. Mangal stops Adit and says she trusts Neel, and if he says he didn’t do it, then he didn’t. Ishana asks why she is trusting Neel. Mangal says her motherly instincts tell her Neel is innocent, just like Ishana was. Ishana says she feels Neel made the fake video. Mangal says she believes someone is framing Neel the same way they framed Ishana. Adit asks Mangal to stop talking and questions why she can’t believe the proof. He says she is focused only on Pehla Swad and not on their children. Kusum asks Mangal to believe Adit’s words. Mangal insists her heart says Neel is innocent. Ishana tells her that because Neel is her son, she is supporting him and silencing her daughter. Mangal tries to explain, but Ishana leaves. Adit and Kusum also walk away.
Neel tells Mangal that he doesn’t even know what is in the video, yet his father beat him so badly. Mangal asks him to control his anger and think about how hurt Adit and Ishana are. She says if he watches the video, he will understand their pain. She walks away. Neel takes the phone and sees the fake MMS of Raj and Ishana.
