The episode begins with Rishi notices the kitchen caught fire and runs to the kitchen. Others also run to the kitchen. Arshi asks who did this on an auspicious day. The waiter says a girl went inside the kitchen. Rishi gets shocked seeing Jhanak inside the kitchen. He screams Jhanak’s name. Others also see Jhanak. Jhanak struggles to breathe and faints. Rishi breaks the door of the kitchen and goes inside. He brings Jhanak out of the kitchen. Tanushri asks him whether he is fine.
Rishi splashes water on Jhanak’s face, but there is no response from her. He says they should take Jhanak to the hospital. Dritimaan says he will bring the car. Aniruddh asks Rishi to check whether Jhanak is fine. Rishi glares at Aniruddh and says he knows the latter wants Jhanak to die. He takes Jhanak from there. Indumati asks why Rishi risked his life for Jhanak. Aditi says Jhanak will kill Rishi. Arshi says she thinks Jhanak is dead already.
After some time in the hospital, Rishi admits Jhanak to the hospital. Aditi asks him why he risked his life. Rishi asks how he can let Jhanak die. And let’s not talk about it there. Neelu says Jhanak is a curse to them. Rishi asks them to not forget they are in the hospital. He says Jhanak sacrificed her place; that’s why Aditi could become the daughter-in-law of the Chatterjee family. Aditi asks him how he can say that. She reminds him that they were in each other’s life before Jhanak entered their life. Arshi asks Aditi to calm down.
Dritimaan tells Rishi that they should investigate the fire accident. Aditi says it must be because of Jhanak’s carelessness. Rishi tells Dritimaan that he already informed the police. And he hopes the evidence is not burnt in the kitchen. Aniruddh tells Rishi that only family was there, not criminals. Rishi says it’s an outsider’s work, and Jhanak’s enemy must be behind this. Aditi asks him why someone would do that. Rishi tells her that that’s why an investigation is necessary. He sends Sanjhbati to stay with Jhanak. He apologized to Dritimaan. Aditi says Jhanak is responsible for this. Rishi tells her that someone tried to kill Jhanak. And the Aashirwad ceremony of Dritimaan and Sanjhbati got ruined because of that.
Meanwhile, Jhanak regains her consciousness. Sanjhbati comes there and asks Jhanak not to get scared. Jhanak blames herself for ruining the Aashirwad ceremony. Sanjhbati asks Jhanak not to blame herself. Rishi and Dritimaan come there. Rishi asks Jhanak whether she is fine. He coughs. Jhanak asks him whether he is fine. Rishi replies he is fine. Aditi and Neelu come there. Jhanak asks Aditi not to get angry. She says she went inside the kitchen to keep food on the waiter’s behest. And she doesn’t know how the kitchen caught fire. Aditi blames Jhanak for Rishi’s condition. She asks what if anything happened to Rishi while saving Jhanak. Rishi tells her that he is fine.
Sanjhbati asks the doctor to do a checkup of Rishi too. The doctor asks what happened. Rishi informs her of everything. He says he is feeling a burning sensation. The doctor says Rishi should be admitted to the hospital for two days for checkups and observation. Dritimaan says he will bring Rishi and Jhanak home after two days. Aditi says she cares about Rishi only. Sanjhbati tells Aditi that both Rishi and Jhanak are affected now. Aditi tells Sanjhbati that she knows about her priority. Neelu blames Jhanak’s carelessness for the fire accident.
Jhanak says she smelled something when she went inside the kitchen. And she doesn’t know how the kitchen caught fire. Rishi asks Jhanak to take care of herself. He goes with the doctor for a checkup.
On the other side, Tanushri tells Indumati that she is scared. Indumati says nothing will happen to Rishi. And Aditi is in the hospital to take care of Rishi. Tanushri asks what happened to Rishi. And how can Rishi risk his life for Jhanak? She says Rishi is not listening to them. She blames Jhanak for their sadness. Dadabhai says Jhanak is not careless. Abhimanyu comes there and informs them Rishi has been admitted to the hospital for observation. Tanushri gets worried hearing this and cries.
Neelu tells Aditi that Rishi got a room near Jhanak’s room. Aditi tauntingly says Rishi will take care of Jhanak. Neelu says Aditi should not have brought Jhanak home. Aditi says she wanted to keep an eye on Rishi and Jhanak. She tells Neelu that she can’t stay with Rishi if he loves Jhanak. Neelu says only Aditi has rights to Rishi and the Chatterjee family. Aditi asks what’s the use of rights when Rishi doesn’t feel for her. She says Rishi has been changed. And Rishi would not have risked his life for her. Neelu says Rishi is a kindhearted person; that’s why he reacted like that. Aditi says she knows Rishi very well.
Later, Rishi and Jhanak stare at each other. They recall the moments they shared with each other.
