The episode starts with Mangal returning home with her children. Ishana asks Mangal why she is not going, as today is the finale of her competition. Mangal says that she has withdrawn her name. Neel reminds her that she always scolds him for missing school and asks how it would be right for her to leave the competition midway. He questions whether it would be good if he left school in the middle as well. Mangal says that the Pehla Swad competition might have already started and that it will be too late even if she leaves now. Ishana and Neel ask her not to give up.
Sowmya prays to Mata Rani, asking her to bless her so that she wins the Pehla Swad competition. She says that Mata Rani always makes Mangal win, so this time she should support her instead. Sowmya steps aside. Shanti arrives at the same temple and prays to Mata Rani for Mangal’s success in the Pehla Swad competition. Sowmya notices Shanti there and intentionally makes Santo drop the prasad laddoo. Sowmya pretends as if she did not see it happen. Shanti scolds her and goes to get another prasad. Sowmya thinks that today she will win and Mangal will not.
Sowmya comes out of the temple and searches for her slippers. Shanti thinks that she knows how to handle Sowmya. To teach her a lesson for spoiling the prasad, Shanti removes the air from a car tyre, believing it belongs to Sowmya. Sowmya finds her slippers, and Shanti hides from her. Sowmya sits in the car and leaves. Shanti then realises that Sowmya had come by taxi and wonders whose red car it was. Another couple comes out of the temple and sees that their car tyre has been punctured. Shanti quietly leaves from there.
At the competition venue, Bhabhi ji asks her PA to find out when Mangal will arrive. Sowmya comes there and says that Mangal cannot come because she has to take care of her daughter. Sowmya adds that she knows Bhabhi ji dislikes women who leave their careers for their families and says that she knows Bhabhi ji is angry with Mangal. Sowmya offers prasad to Bhabhi ji. Bhabhi ji thinks that Sowmya believes she can win the competition by offering prasad to God instead of relying on talent. She continues to wait for Mangal.
Mangal leaves for the competition venue on a bicycle as the roads are blocked due to roadwork. Sowmya asks the PA whether the competition has started. The PA replies that it will begin shortly. Sowmya thinks that she will win the competition. She tells the PA that it is a waste to conduct multiple rounds and suggests declaring her the winner since Mangal will not come. Bhabhi ji questions Sowmya about why she is so sure that Mangal cannot come and reminds her that Adit can take care of his daughter.
The anchor announces that the winner of the Pehla Swad competition will also win a foreign trip. The contestants feel happy. Bhabhi ji continues waiting for Mangal’s arrival. The anchor explains that the contestants must taste two dishes and identify the ingredients within one minute. Sowmya thinks it is an easy task. Just then, Mangal arrives on her bicycle, shocking Sowmya. Bhabhi ji tells Mangal that she has arrived just in time and asks her to take her place. Mangal goes to her spot. Ishana and Neel arrive and cheer for Mangal. Adit also comes there.
Sowmya wonders how she will win now. The host announces that the time begins. The contestants taste the food placed in front of them and write their answers on paper.
Akshat comes and sits with Neel and Ishana. Neel teases Akshat, but Ishana asks Neel not to tease him and comments on his behaviour.
Bhabhi ji announces the results and declares that the two finalists are Sowmya Saxena and Mangal Srivastava.

Precap: Sowmya tells someone over the phone that she wants a powder which, once consumed, can take a person’s life. Sowmya mixes the powder into Mangal’s dish. Bhabhi ji announces that a special guest has been invited to taste the dish. Mangal sees Akshat and the other children going to taste the dish and wonders how the powder ended up on her custard.
