The episode starts with Bhagyasree, Karthik and Kanika cooking in the kitchen to do Pulihara for the competition.
Kanchan asks Karthik to get married to Kanika this year. Karthik comments on Kanchan as he is cooking Pulihara to win the competition but she is talking about his marriage. Kanchan agrees and says she will not talk about it.
Mahindra suddenly has coughs and Deepa goes to get water for Mahindra. Mahindra drinks the water.
All the contestants bring their Pulihara. Kailashnath asks Deepa to taste the Pulihara and decide who is the winner.
Deepa tastes Kanika’s Pulihara and says this Pulihara has too much Mirchi. Kanika blames Chitralekha for her advice.
Deepa tastes Kanchan and Karthik’s Pulihara. Deepa says this Pulihara is bitter. Kanchan blames Karthik for it. Karthik apologises to Deepa thinking about what he has done to Deepa in the past as her father is dead because of him.
Deepa tastes Chitralekha’s Pulihara and says there is wierd taste in this Pulihara. Kailashnath comments on Chitralekha and asks Chitralekha what has she added in Pulihara. Chitralekha says she has added Shimla Mirch. Kailashnath comments on Chitralekha.
Deepa later eats Bhagyasree’s Pulihara and says to Bhagyasree that this Pulihara is too much salty. Bhagyasree asks Jyoti how much salt has she added. Jyoti says she has added two full spoons of salt. Bhagyasree understands Jyoti has put too much salt in the Pulihara and comments on her.
Kailashnath says he understood one thing and i.e. no one has made any good Pulihara. Kailashnath asks Deepa to go and make Pulihara. Deepa agrees and goes to make Pulihara.
The pandit comes and tells horoscope of everyone in the family one by one. Deepa brings the Pulihara and serves it to everyone. Kailashnath praises Deepa’s Pulihara and offers her the gold chain. Deepa doesn’t aceept it. Kailashnath then gifts the gold chain to Jyoti.
Kailashnath asks Deepa to tell her birth date and says the Pandit will tell the horoscope. Deepa says her parents never told her. Bhagyasree says Deepa’s parents are no more. Kailashnath apologises to Deepa for hurting her.
The Pandit later says about Kanika and Karthik’s horoscope saying both of their horoscope’s are not good the next year and they need to go to temple to do Pooja. The Pandit asks Kanika to go to temple on Saturday and asks Karthik to go to temple on Monday. Chitralekha worries about Karthik and Kanika’s wedding as the Pandit predicted it is difficult to happen this year.

Precap:- Bhanu comes to Deepa and catches her half saree pallu. Karthik grips Bhanu’s collar and asks Bhanu who is he to catch Deepa’s half saree pallu. Bhanu asks Deepa to tell Karthik that he is her husband. Karthik hearing it leaves Bhanu’s collar.
Bhanu says to Deepa that he will not leave her if she is having an affair with this guy pointing to Karthik. Deepa shows her slipper and asks Bhanu to leave. Bhanu leaves from there.
Karthik tries to talk to Deepa. Deepa asks Karthik to leave her alone.
