The episode opens with Nandita, who remains deeply disturbed by the growing bond between Dimpy and Khushi. Unable to accept their affectionate relationship, her mind is consumed with the thought of removing Khushi from the Mehra household at any cost. The uneasiness robs her of sleep, and in the dead of night she makes a decisive move. Carrying bundles of money, Nandita enters the room shared by Khushi and Dimpy, convinced that money will easily solve the problem and drive Khushi away.
She wakes Khushi and coldly orders her to leave the house immediately with her belongings. Nandita makes it clear that her only concern is her own daughter and family. She bluntly states that she does not consider Khushi a member of the Mehra family and offers her ten lakh rupees in exchange for leaving. In her mind, Khushi’s actions must have been motivated by greed, and she even insists that Khushi leave the city altogether so that no one can trace her.
Khushi is left stunned by this humiliating demand. She firmly refuses the money, explaining that she never desired anything from their wealth. In fact, she had already planned to leave the house within two days, but after this confrontation, she feels she cannot stay there even a moment longer. Without arguing or defending herself, Khushi quietly walks out of the Mehra house.
The following morning, Aradhana informs Nandita that both Dimpy and Khushi are missing from their room. While Nandita expects Khushi’s absence, she is shocked to hear about Dimpy. As Aradhana steps outside, they find Khushi and Dimpy lying together. Aradhana takes Dimpy inside, while Nandita confronts Khushi, demanding to know why she returned after leaving.
Khushi explains that Nandita had followed her when she left the house during the night. Fearing for Dimpy’s safety, she returned only to protect her. Khushi gently tries to make Dimpy understand that Nandita was extremely anxious about her disappearance. However, Dimpy reacts harshly and misbehaves with Nandita.
The commotion wakes the entire household. When Krishna learns that Khushi had intended to leave, he is deeply shaken. Khushi calmly explains that she wants to start her life anew and feels it is best to leave as soon as possible. She believes that the longer she stays, the more attached Dimpy will become, which will only complicate matters. Baldev earnestly requests her to stay for as long as Dimpy needs her. While Queenie and Nandita remain opposed to Khushi’s presence, Nandita eventually pleads with her to stay, realizing she has no other option.
Meanwhile, Mamta and Sweety discover that Khushi is now the daughter-in-law of the Mehra family. Struggling financially, they regret their past actions and lament that had they known this earlier, they would never have thrown Khushi out of their house.
The next morning, Khushi reveals to Krishna that Nandita had tried to force her out by offering ten lakh rupees. Krishna is left completely speechless by this revelation. Soon after, an insurance company representative arrives at Rajkumar’s house with a cheque of twenty lakh rupees. However, the amount cannot be handed over to Mamta or Sweety, as Khushi is the official nominee.
Finally, Krishna confronts Nandita, questioning her decision to offer money to Khushi and her continuous mistreatment of her despite knowing her innocence. Nandita defends herself by accusing Khushi of deceit. In a powerful moment, Krishna openly admits that he loves Khushi, leaving everyone stunned.
