The episode starts with Mangal being shown to be dead on a hospital bed, and the doctors declare her dead. Doctor tells Adit that Mangal is no more and he leaves. Adit and Kusum break down in tears. Adit goes to Mangal’s room and begs her to wake up. He asks her to think about what will happen to Kusum, Sudesh, and their children if she doesn’t wake up. Adit also asks what will happen to him without her. He recalls his moments with Mangal. Suddenly, Mangal’s heart starts responding. Adit calls Doctor. The doctor checks her and calls it a medical miracle. Adit becomes emotional.
Meanwhile, Sowmya and Shanti are watching TV. Sowmya receives a call from Paras and tries to step aside to answer it, but Shanti asks her to attend the call there itself. Sowmya answers the call. Paras warns her that she closed the door on his face and threatens to expose her secret in front of her husband if she doesn’t give him ₹15 lakhs. Shocked and tense, Sowmya drops the phone. Shanti asks whose call it was, but Sowmya lies. Shanti rebukes her. Sowmya wonders how to escape from Paras.
The next day, Mangal asks Kusum if they went to church without her. Kusum replies that they can go again once she recovers. Adit asks Mangal to rest. Mangal receives a call from the kids and tells Adit that she cannot talk to them in this condition. Adit insists, saying they had called the previous day as well. He and Kusum cover Mangal’s injury with a saree and shawl. Mangal speaks to the kids and tells them she is buying gifts for them, which makes them happy. Adit admires Mangal.
Later, Mangal, Kusum, and Adit go shopping. Kusum questions why Mangal came out in this condition, but Mangal says she promised the kids. At a shop, Mangal asks the price of earrings but doesn’t buy them as they are expensive. Kusum steps aside to attend a call. Later, Adit buys the earrings and tells Mangal that he purchased them because she liked them. Mangal refuses, saying they are too expensive. Adit asks her to accept them as a thank-you gift, saying he got his job back and even came to Georgia because of her. Mangal finally accepts the earrings and thanks him. Kusum joins them, and they take selfies together.
Back home, Sowmya turns off the lights and wishes Adit would return soon so that Shanti would leave. She notices a shadow but dismisses it. Shanti sees the shadow, assumes it is a thief, and hits the person from behind with a rolling pin. The lights turn on, and everyone gathers there. The person introduces himself as Santa, claiming he has come to give gifts. Neel suspects he might be a thief and removes the beard. Everyone is happy to see that it is Adit. They ask where Mangal is, and she arrives soon after. The kids hug her happily, but Mangal feels pain at the spot where she was shot. Adit asks her to be careful. Sowmya questions why they returned early, and Adit says it was a surprise. Ishana asks Mangal to show their gifts, and Mangal takes the kids outside to see them.
The kids are delighted with the gifts. Kusum tells Mangal to sit down as she has been standing for a long time, and Adit agrees with her. Sowmya notices Adit’s concern for Mangal and wonders what has changed. She suspects that Mangal, Adit, and Kusum are hiding something.
