The episode starts with Sowmya telling Mangal that all the family members, including Adit, are placing her above everyone else. She announces to the entire family that she does not want to maintain any relationship with them and orders them to pack their belongings and leave her house, warning that she will call the guards if they refuse. Kusum questions Sowmya if she has no shame in speaking this way. Sowmya coldly replies that she does not. She adds that while everyone considers Mangal special, she is always treated as Adit’s mistake, and therefore Kusum should leave the house along with Mangal.
Sudesh intervenes, saying the house belongs to his son. Sowmya claims that Adit hid the truth and that the house is now in her name. She accuses Adit of failing to pay the EMIs and says she paid them all while silently bearing everything, but her ego was hurt the previous night. She asks Adit to tell everyone the truth. When Adit remains silent, Sowmya shows the house papers to Sudesh and continues misbehaving with the family. Adit warns her to stay within her limits, but Sowmya orders him to leave the house along with his family and calls the guards. When Ishana argues with her, Sowmya raises her hand to slap her, but Mangal stops her in time. The guards forcefully throw the Saxena family out.
Sowmya locks the doors, leaving the Saxena family shattered and homeless. They grow emotional as they recall their memories in the house. Ishana asks Mangal where they will go, and Mangal comforts her and asks her to gather the luggage. Kusum wonders how Sowmya could throw them out despite the care they gave her. Adit blames himself for bringing Sowmya back into the house. Mangal assures the family that they can stay at her rented home, and everyone agrees.
At the rented house, Mangal calls the owner and asks why he assumed she had vacated the place. The owner informs her that the agreement has expired and the rent for the month is unpaid. Mangal requests time and asks for the keys, explaining that her family is with her, but the owner refuses, saying he has rented the house to someone else for a higher rent.
Ishana informs Mangal that Akshat’s fever is rising. Meanwhile, Sowmya enters the Saxena house, looks at their family photo, breaks the frame, and vows to bring them onto the streets.
Akshat asks Mangal where they will go next. A passing car splashes muddy water on Kusum, and Adit angrily confronts the driver, saying Kusum is his family. Mangal consoles Akshat. Shanti questions Mangal for not coming to her directly and reminds her that her mother is still alive and she does not need to wander from house to house with her family.
As Akshat’s fever worsens, the family tends to him. Mangal notices Adit punching the wall in anger and sees that his hand is injured. She tries to tend to him, but Adit stops her and breaks down, saying he was never a good husband and is now not even a good father or son. He blames himself for the family becoming homeless. Mangal consoles him and urges him to stay strong. When Adit asks how she can still have hope after losing everything, Mangal replies that when others depend on you, there is no choice but to remain strong.
