The episode opens with Krishna drowning his sorrow in alcohol, trying desperately to numb the pain of Khushi’s rejection. He walks into a bar and keeps drinking recklessly, hoping the intoxication will help him forget her. As the night progresses, he loses control over both his body and his emotions. Noticing his condition, the bar owner supports him and repeatedly warns him not to ride his bike. However, Krishna refuses to listen. Soon after leaving, he collapses on the roadside, overcome by sickness and alcohol.
By chance, Khushi notices Krishna lying unconscious on the footpath. Shocked and worried, she rushes to his side. In his semi-conscious state, Krishna keeps murmuring Khushi’s name, confessing how deeply he loves her and claiming that death would be easier than living without her. His words shake Khushi emotionally. With the help of an auto driver, she carefully lifts Krishna and takes him inside the vehicle. Holding his head to protect him, Khushi realises the depth of his love and is overwhelmed with guilt for pushing him out of her life so harshly. Though she struggles internally, she stays by his side, hoping he regains consciousness.
The auto eventually reaches the Mehra house. Baldev and Aradhana understand immediately that it was Khushi who brought Krishna home, even though she chooses not to step inside. After a few hours, Krishna regains his senses and explains the reason behind his intoxicated state. When Khushi confronts him later, she firmly tells him that she has no feelings for him and that his actions only troubled her further. From Baldev and Aradhana, Krishna learns the truth about how Khushi helped him that night. Despite her rejection, Krishna remains confident that one day Khushi will acknowledge her true feelings and return to him.
The following morning marks a new chapter in Krishna’s life as he officially joins his grandfather’s textile company as the managing director. He receives a warm and respectful welcome from the staff. Coincidentally, Khushi arrives at the same garment company seeking work. Unaware that Krishna is the owner, she approaches the receptionist and requests a meeting with the managing director. Her request is denied, as the company already has several vendors and sees no need for new contracts. However, on Krishna’s personal instructions, Khushi is given special permission to enter. The recruitment process is unusually simple, as the manager informs her that the managing director himself has ordered her appointment. This sudden approval makes Khushi suspicious and curious to meet the MD face-to-face.
Her curiosity turns into anger when she discovers that Krishna is the managing director. Feeling deceived, Khushi refuses the job outright and lashes out at Krishna for interfering in her life yet again. She makes it clear that she does not want his help or any special favours. Determined to stand on her own, she asserts that she wants to fight her battles independently.
On returning home, Khushi faces another shock when the landlord starts throwing out their belongings, claiming the rental agreement has expired. Furious and helpless, Khushi confronts him. Under pressure, the landlord reveals that a powerful person ordered him to evict Khushi’s family so they would be forced to leave the city. Khushi immediately realises that Nandita is behind this cruel move. She requests some time, promising to vacate the house soon.
