The episode begins with Mahindra questioning the police about why they have come to the house. The cops ask Mahindra who the car belongs to. The police inspector asks Mahindra to call his daughter. Kanika arrives and asks the inspector what has happened. The inspector informs Kanika’s family that the car was involved in an accident in which three people were injured. He further reveals that one of them is still in critical condition. The inspector then asks Kanika if she was the one driving the car last night. Kanika recalls being drunk the previous night. Chitralekha notices Kanika’s condition and realizes that Kanika was the one driving the car.
Chitralekha immediately shifts the blame onto Bantu, telling the police that he was driving the car last night and asking them to take him away. Bantu pleads with Chitralekha not to hand him over to the police. At that moment, Deepa arrives and hears Chitralekha accusing Bantu. Unaware of why the police are present, Deepa reveals that Kanika was the one who drove the car last night. Chitralekha tries to send Deepa away, but Bhagyasree stops her and asks Deepa if she saw Kanika return with the car. Deepa confirms and adds that Kanika was unable to walk properly, so she helped her to her room. When the inspector asks the time Kanika returned, Deepa says it was around 12:00 a.m. The inspector thanks Deepa for telling the truth and takes her to the police station. Kanika angrily looks at Deepa as they leave. Deepa is left wondering if she has done the right thing. Kailashnath and Mahindra also leave for the police station.
Meanwhile, Kanchan receives a call and learns that Kanika has been arrested. After hearing this from Kanchan, Karthik immediately heads to the police station. At the station, the inspector tells Mahindra and Kailashnath that he cannot help them, as the case has become a public issue and reporters are waiting outside. The media reports that Miss Hyderabad Kanika drove under the influence and injured three people.
Back at home, Chitralekha scolds Deepa for revealing the truth without understanding the situation. She says Deepa could have stayed quiet and allowed her to handle the matter. Bhagyasree intervenes and tells Chitralekha not to blame Deepa for Kanika’s mistake. She points out that the police traced the car and would have eventually identified the driver. Chitralekha snaps back, saying Bhagyasree doesn’t need to support Deepa all the time.
Karthik reaches the police station and confronts Kanika, asking if what he heard about her is true. Kanika says she never imagined things would turn out this way. When Karthik asks why she drove despite being drunk, Kanika remains silent. Later, Mahindra and Kailashnath secure bail for Kanika. Karthik escorts Kanika out of the police station, shields her from the reporters, and helps her into the car.
