The episode starts with a guy entering a house and calling Bhanu. He falls, then meets Bhanu and informs her that the master stopped Vidya at school. So Bhanu goes to the school where she finds her sister Vidya being punished. She then goes to the teacher and threatens him about the consequences if he repeats this with Vidya. Then she asks Vidya to stand up for herself and never forget that she is the daughter of Om Prakash Vajbai. The sisters’ growing-up journey is shown. After years, in the temple, Bhanu prays that no one comes between her and Vidya. Meanwhile, Mahadev is seen talking to Om Prakash Vajbai, who gave shelter to him. The latter advises him not to consider himself a servant.
Bhanu, in her heart, prays to God not to put her and Vidya in a position where they have to stand against each other. Vidya turns around and sees Mahadev. They both smile at each other. Both of them then put their diyas in the water, and when Vidya’s diya is about to fall, Mahadev protects it and prays to God to fulfill Vidya’s desires.
Later, Om Prakash Vajbai informs his daughters about his decision to marry them both off to the same house. Bhanu expresses her happiness while Vidya looks tense. Vidya looks at a working Mahadev with worry-filled eyes, and he stares back at her. Afterwards, both Vidya and Mahadev are seen performing wedding rituals in the temple. Bhanu and her parents reach the temple. Om Prakash regrets bringing Mahadev home instead of letting him die. He also hurts Mahadev by firing a bullet at him. So Vidya defends Mahadev. Bhanu lashes out at Vidya. She also insults Mahadev because he is an orphan and questions Vidya’s decision. She further declares Vidya is dead to her, then leaves, taking her mother with her. Both Vidya and Mahadev become sad.
The next day, both Mahadev and Vidya are seen leaving the village. Mahadev blames himself for separating Vidya and Bhanu. He then decides to stay back in the village to reconcile their relationship with the Vajbai family. They return to the same village. Both of them make arrangements to live in a small house. Vidya looks happy seeing Mahadev’s efforts to give her a happy and comfortable life.
Afterward, a groom’s family comes to meet Bhanu. The groom questions Vidya’s decision and says the marriage will happen after he gets confirmation that Bhanu doesn’t have any feelings for anyone. Bhanu warns him and kicks the guy. Everyone is shocked. Mahadev meets the groom and pleads with him to accept Bhanu. But the guy refuses and threatens not to spare the Vajbai family. Mahadev gets furious, so he warns the guy. Om Prakash sees everything from his house. Later, he meets Mahadev and accepts him and Vidya. They both get happy.
At Vajbai’s house, Bhanu refuses to forgive Mahadev for separating her and Vidya. She also vows not to marry until she sees Mahadev’s dead body. Her parents get worried about Bhanu’s hatred for Vidya and Mahadev. Om Prakash asks Radha never to let their daughters get separated, then dies. During his last rites, Bhanu’s brother stops Vidya and Mahadev from seeing Om Prakash one last time despite their pleas. Mahadev gets furious when Vidya’s brother tries to harm her, so he beats up everyone and takes Vidya inside to see Om Prakash’s face. Both Bhanu and Mahadev challenge each other.
Precap: Mahadev vows not to celebrate his wedding anniversary. After 25 years, when his son plans to celebrate Vidya and Mahadev’s wedding anniversary, Mahadev lashes out at him and throws the banner away. It falls inside Vajbai’s house and ruins Bhanu’s cake, who is ready to celebrate her birthday. A furious Bhanu then confronts Mahadev for ruining her day.
Our take: Mahadev’s decision to protect and provide a comfortable life for his wife Vidya and their children by staying next to the Vajbai family may invite more trouble. Bhanu is not someone who will stay quiet for long.
