Fate brings them together under the same roof, and it is there that Krishna and Nandita unexpectedly notice Khushi in the hospital as well. Krishna is completely unfamiliar with Kabir and cannot understand why he seems so concerned about Khushi. Kabir’s attentive behavior immediately plants seeds of suspicion in Krishna’s mind. When Kabir steps away to fetch medicines, Krishna confronts Khushi, demanding to know who the man is and what relationship he shares with her. Khushi, already exhausted, pleads with Krishna not to create a scene in such a sensitive place.
After Krishna leaves the spot, Khushi approaches Nandita and, in a sharp, mocking tone, reminds her of how desperately she had tried to block Khushi’s success in business. Despite facing endless struggles and obstacles, Khushi managed to complete her work before the night ended. She expresses her gratitude to Kabir, a genuinely kind-hearted man who had helped her by giving her a job ironing clothes when she needed work the most. With quiet confidence, Khushi challenges Nandita once again, asserting that no matter how hard she tries, she will never be able to stop her growth or success.
Later, Kabir asks Khushi about Krishna, describing him as ill-tempered and aggressive. Khushi briefly introduces Krishna and Nandita but avoids sharing any personal details. Nandita deliberately twists the incident, portraying it as a romantic moment, and poisons Krishna’s mind further by claiming that Kabir is Khushi’s boyfriend and that Khushi is trying to trap him to gain wealth and status. Later, Nandita narrates the entire incident to Vikram and Queenie, determined to make Krishna despise Khushi so deeply that he cannot even tolerate hearing her name.
On the other side, Krishna is unable to shake off the image of Khushi’s supposed closeness with Kabir. His jealousy and anger consume him.
