The episode starts with Anjali telling Padma that all these things were worn by Gini in the past and that she cannot wear them. Anjali asks Padma why Raghav needs to do this engagement. Padma asks Anjali why she is only focusing on the engagement and not seeing that Raghav has mortgaged his house to arrange the money. Anjali is shocked to hear this. Padma says that Raghav will give the money to her on the day of the engagement so that she can bring the basti back together. Anjali agrees and comments on it.
Gini becomes emotional while thinking about Abhay and Anjali’s wedding and feels that everything has ended. Anjali also thinks to herself at home that everything has ended. A maid serves food to Gini, but Gini throws the food away.
Kavya asks Yuvraj if he is going to the party. Yuvraj says yes and adds that he will take Mehek and his entire family with him. He also tells Kavya that Ved and Aarti will be coming. Yuvraj says that he will humiliate Anjali so badly that she will wish she were dead. Kavya asks what he is planning to do. Yuvraj explains that Damodar is sending the mortgage papers, and Gini’s name will be on them. Once the mortgage is done, the Rajput family will be thrown out of the Rajput mansion, and he won’t need to do anything, as Gini and Damodar will handle everything.
Mehek comes to Yuvraj and asks what she should wear for the party. Yuvraj tells her that he will bring the dress and help her get ready, asking her not to worry. Mehek agrees.
Anjali looks at the dresses and jewelry sent by the Rajput family and asks Padma why they sent all this. Padma reminds her that it is her engagement day. Anjali says she cannot wear these things and calls Raghav, telling him that she cannot wear the jewelry and dresses because she is a widow. Raghav asks her not to speak like that and says that Abhay specially bought everything for her. Abhay takes the phone and explains how he selected everything keeping Anjali in mind. Anjali says she cannot wear the red saree. Abhay says he expected this and tells her that he has also sent another saree, asking her to wear that instead. Anjali agrees and ends the call.
Anjali asks Padma to help her get ready for the wedding and also asks her to call all the basti people. She says that only her living dead body will go to the Rajput family.
Padma helps Anjali get ready. Anjali informs the basti people that she is going to the Rajput house for the engagement. Stepney tells Anjali that even though she is angry with them, they have no one except her. Anjali comments on it and leaves for the Rajput house.
Raghav welcomes all the guests who have arrived for the engagement ceremony and also welcomes the Thakur family. Chandraman asks Raghav to forgive him and Yuvraj for their past mistakes. Raghav says he is not thinking about the past, as Yuvraj is helping him financially. Sadhika comments that Raghav is paying ₹200 crores for Anjali to come. Raghav asks her not to compare Anjali with money and tells Vaibhav to make Sadhika understand.
Raghav sees Ved and Aarti at the engagement and welcomes them, saying he never expected them to come and that he is happy to see them. Aarti says she shouldn’t have come, as people will make fun of Anjali. Nivedita tells Aarti that she won’t understand the situation unless she has a heart. Nivedita then notices Anjali arriving and goes to her.
Sanya and Mehek praise Anjali. Abhay comes forward and asks for Anjali’s hand, and Anjali gives it to him. Sadhika comments that Anjali is dressing up to look good so that Abhay doesn’t look at someone else like Gini.

Precap: During Abhay and Anjali’s wedding, both of them arrive at the mandap. Aarti, holding a gun, declares that she will not allow the wedding to take place and threatens to kill them. From a distance, Gini points the gun at Abhay and Anjali and fires at them.
