The episode starts with Bhanu asking Mahadev to tone down. She then reminds him about his betrayal and vows to destroy his family if his son repeats the same. Mahadev asks her to stop speaking nonsense and mocks her. Bhanu and Yash give a love letter to Mahadev, claiming it’s from Dheeraj to Rajji. Everyone gets shocked. Just then, Dheeraj arrives with Satya. Dheeraj comments on Bhanu and her family’s presence in the house. Ketan questions Dheeraj, who gets confused.
Mahadev asks Bhanu and Yash to stop talking nonsense because his son wouldn’t do anything of the sort. But Bhanu continuously accuses Dheeraj of giving a love letter to Rajji. She also mocks Mahadev for not having an identity. She then asks Rajji to tell everyone that it was Dheeraj who gave her the love letter. Dheeraj calls out Rajji’s name, but the latter remains silent. He signals Vidya that he didn’t do anything of the sort. Vishwa encourages Rajji to confess the truth to everyone, saying that he is with her. Bhanu demands Rajji to tell them it’s Dheeraj who gave her the love letter. Rajji nods in a positive way. So Mahadev gets furious and he starts beating Dheeraj up despite the latter’s plea to believe him that he didn’t do anything such. Mahadev refuses to believe him. Ashish, Ketan, and Satya try to stop Mahadev but the latter warns them and he continues to beat Dheeraj. Rajji feels bad for Dheeraj. Bhanu gives a final warning to Mahadev and leaves with Rajji and others.
Afterward, Mahadev locks Dheeraj in a room and continues his punishment while Vidya and others demand he open the door. Dheeraj tells Mahadev that he knows their history with the Bajpais, so why is he going to do something that will hurt his father? He further asks why he is going to love Rajji when there are so many girls in the world. Mahadev gets angry. He drags Dheeraj out of the room and talks about the sacrifices Vidya had to make after marrying him. Vidya misunderstands Mahadev, so she asks him whether he feels their marriage is wrong. Mahadev clarifies that he is blessed to have Vidya in his life, but he fears that his son may not have such good fortune as him. So he demands Dheeraj promise him that he will marry a girl of his choice. Dheeraj promises, then Mahadev demands the same promise from both Ashish and Ketan. They both hesitate, recalling the moments they spent with Madhu and Narmada, but they promise Mahadev to marry girls of his choice.
At Bajpai’s house, Bhanu brags about giving a good life to Rajji and Vishwa after their parents’ demise. She then confronts Rajji about leading Dheeraj on because she has seen Rajji’s pain for Dheeraj when Mahadev was beating Dheeraj up. But Rajji clarifies that she didn’t do anything like that and also she hates Mahadev’s family. Yash advises Rajji along with Bhanu, then they both leave. Radha teases Rajji with Dheeraj and also predicts their future. Rajji doesn’t take her words seriously. Meanwhile, Vidya applies ointment on Mahadev’s hand. Mahadev asks her whether she is upset with him. Vidya replies that she is hurt that he doesn’t believe Dheeraj. Mahadev tells her that he can have hope for Dheeraj because he is his son, but not for Rajji.
Precap: Mahadev shouts about the pain one should go through if they fall in love, while Dheeraj tells Ketan that he shouldn’t have made a promise to Mahadev. He then asks Ashish not to tell him that he is in love. A drunken Ashish confesses that he loves Madhu. On the other side, Bhanu asks Rajji to do anything but not to betray her. Rajji nods.
Our take: Mahadev’s lack of trust in Dheeraj is breaking Dheeraj’s heart, but the latter’s vow never to disappoint his father shows the love he has for Mahadev. Whereas Rajji’s lie and its consequences are affecting Ashish and Ketan’s love, this may create a fight between Mahadev’s sons in the future.
