The episode starts with Adit telling Mangal that she is just 9th pass, yet she started a business and runs it successfully. He praises her for managing family responsibilities for 15 years and admits that he hurt her many times but never apologized due to his ego. Today, he has come to apologize for betraying her and causing her pain repeatedly. Adit says that he does not even deserve her forgiveness.
It starts raining. Adit slaps himself using Mangal’s hand. Shocked, Mangal asks him what he is doing. Adit says that this punishment should be given by her. He adds that although he agreed to remarry her for Akshat’s wish, it is also his own wish now, as he has realized he is nothing without her and wants her back in his life. He admits he cannot return the 15 years she lost but promises to give her the happiness she deserves and asks for her support.
Adit says that today he is proposing to her for marriage. He asks Mangal to give him another chance. He tells her that he has kept a saree in her room, and if she wears it for the mehendi, he will understand that she has accepted his proposal wholeheartedly. If she does not wear it, he will ensure that the family does not force her into marriage. He asks her to take time and decide for herself, assuring her that any decision she makes will be respected. Mangal remains silent.
Later, Kusum asks Shanti if she has seen Mangal’s saree. Shanti says that Adit brought it and she placed it in Mangal’s room. Sowmya overhears this and burns the saree. During the mehendi ceremony, everyone dances happily while Adit anxiously waits for Mangal. He prays to Mata Rani to make Mangal wear the saree he gifted her.
Kusum wonders why Mangal has not come out yet and questions whether she wants to remarry Adit. Shanti recalls Mangal’s fears and says they are forcing her to remarry the man who betrayed her. She firmly states that if Mangal does not want this marriage, she will not let anyone force her.
Just as Adit is about to leave in distress, Akshat knocks on Mangal’s door. Mangal opens the door wearing the saree gifted by Adit. Adit feels relieved and happy. Akshat and the family shower flowers on Mangal. Ishana compliments her beauty. Shanti asks Mangal if she is marrying Adit of her own free will and not under pressure. Mangal agrees, making Adit’s face light up. He extends his hand, and Mangal holds it, shocking Sowmya. Adit makes Mangal sit for the mehendi ritual.
Mangal notices Sowmya leaving and confronts her about burning the saree. Sowmya denies it, but Mangal reveals that she found Sowmya’s earring in her room. She warns Sowmya that her behavior is not good for her unborn child. Mangal further reveals that the saree Sowmya burned was not the one Adit gifted her and warns her to change her ways, or she will be forced to take a strict step, as she is tired of Sowmya’s evil plans.
