The episode starts with Lakshmi telling Jia that she has found a lot of blood on Dadi’s blanket. Lakshmi tells Jia that she is sure Jia has done something to Dadi. Dadi also tells Lakshmi that she is fine.
Jia tells Lakshmi that she knows Lakshmi is doing this so that she can throw Jia out of the house. Jia says she will leave the house and asks Lakshmi to stop blaming her. Lakshmi asks Dadi to tell everyone what really happened. Dadi tells Lakshmi that she is completely fine and says that Lakshmi might be dreaming.
After Lakshmi leaves the room, Krish and Jia are shown wiping the bloodstains in Dadi’s room.
Lakshmi tries to explain everything to Karan. In her heart, Jia thinks that she is going to enjoy making Lakshmi look mentally ill. Karan takes Lakshmi away from there.
Lakshmi asks Karan to believe her and says that Jia wants to make her mentally unstable by doing all this. Karan tells Lakshmi that he believes her. Lakshmi still feels that Karan is only comforting her and comments on it.
Karan and Lakshmi fall onto the sofa, and Karan romances Lakshmi. Krish passes by their room and gets upset after seeing their romance.
Krish goes to Jia and complains that her plan is not working. He says that she planned to make Lakshmi look mentally ill so that Karan would move away from her, but instead Karan is romancing Lakshmi. Krish asks Jia to tell him if she is incapable of doing it and warns that he will throw her out of the house. Jia tells Krish that she can reveal the truth about him to everyone and snatch this roof from over his head at any time. She warns him never to speak to her rudely again.
Jia sneaks into Lakshmi’s room and mixes a drug into Lakshmi’s perfume. She sees Lakshmi coming out of the washroom and hides under the bed. Karan comes to Lakshmi and flirts with her. Lakshmi thanks Karan for the way he handled everything the previous night. When Karan is about to kiss Lakshmi, Dadi calls out for them. Karan leaves the room, and Lakshmi sprays the perfume on herself before going to Dadi.
Bhavani asks Dadi if she is still upset with her. Dadi tells Bhavani that Karan may have forgiven her, but she will never forgive her for what Bhavani has done. Dadi asks Bhavani to inform Krish that he will not get a single share of the property. Bhavani thinks that Dadi will give everything only to Karan and nothing to her son Krish.
Lakshmi feels dizzy but still goes to Dadi. Dadi gives her a sindoor box, saying that the priest gave it to her. Dadi asks Lakshmi to make Karan apply the sindoor in her hairline. Lakshmi agrees and leaves.
Lakshmi comes to her room, where Krish is shown wearing a jacket identical to Karan’s.
It is shown that Jia had asked Krish to wear Karan’s lookalike jacket so he could deceive Lakshmi.
Lakshmi looks at Krish and mistakes him for Karan. She asks him to apply the sindoor in her hairline. As Krish is about to do so, sparks fly from a plug. From outside, Karan asks Lakshmi about the sound. Fearing that he will be caught, Krish escapes through the window.
Karan enters the room. Lakshmi asks him if he was already there earlier. Karan says that he has just come in. Lakshmi tells him how she thought he was in the room and asked him to apply sindoor in her hairline. Karan makes Lakshmi sit down, applies the sindoor in her hairline, and leaves. Lakshmi feels that something is definitely wrong, as she sensed someone’s presence earlier.
The episode ends.
Precap: Krish tells Jia that Lakshmi’s reaction when Karan called him “brother” was worth watching. Jia says that now Karan will slowly drift away from Lakshmi and their relationship will end soon. Lakshmi is shown overhearing their conversation.
Our Take:
Lakshmi senses something seriously wrong as Jia and Krish’s dangerous plan begins to affect her mental state. Despite Karan standing by Lakshmi, Jia manipulates situations to create doubt and confusion between the couple. With Lakshmi overhearing Jia and Krish’s conversation, the truth seems closer to coming out than ever.
