The episode starts with Lakshmi accusing Bhavani of trying to make Karan mentally ill. When that plan failed, she claims they decided to make her mentally ill instead. Lakshmi tells Karan that she is not mentally ill. Karan puts Lakshmi to sleep.
After some time, Karan asks Lakshmi why she is arguing with everyone. Lakshmi asks Karan to believe her and says that someone is trying to kill them. Lakshmi looks towards the window and sees the shadow of a person holding a knife. She asks Karan to look at it, but when Karan checks the window, he finds no one there.
Jia tells Krish that due to the drug, Lakshmi will start having hallucinations. Jia says that Lakshmi will leave Karan on her own, fearing for his safety.
Lakshmi feels that someone is coming to kill her and asks Karan to stop him. Karan asks Lakshmi to trust him and assures her that no one is there. Lakshmi does not believe Karan and lashes out at the shadow. She then loses consciousness.
Karan comes out of the room and sees Jia. Jia asks him whether Lakshmi is having hallucinations again. When Karan questions her, Jia says that in the past Lakshmi had similar hallucinations, due to which she misunderstood Jia. Karan says he is unaware of what happened earlier and comments on it.
Dadi arrives and asks about the noise coming from the room. Jia explains that Lakshmi has suffered a panic attack and is experiencing hallucinations again.
Karan asks Dadi whether Lakshmi had behaved strangely in the past. Dadi recalls the time when Lakshmi returned from the jungle after Karthik’s death, behaving as if she were possessed. Remembering this, Karan begins to believe Jia’s words. Jia tells Karan that Lakshmi needs immediate medication and suggests calling the old doctor who had treated her earlier. Karan agrees.
The doctor examines Lakshmi and tells Karan that an injection is needed to control her hallucinations. Karan agrees. It is later shown that Jia has bribed the doctor and instructed him to give an injection that will prolong Lakshmi’s hallucinations.
Lakshmi regains consciousness and refuses to take the injection. Karan insists, saying it will help control her hallucinations. Lakshmi denies being mentally ill. Karan shows her a video of her throwing a flower vase at the wall, explaining that there was no one present at that time. Lakshmi still refuses the injection and agrees only to take tablets. The doctor gives her tablets, which she takes.
The next day, Lakshmi performs pooja to the Goddess. Jia thinks that once Lakshmi lights the diya, she will start hallucinating again. Lakshmi lights the diya and pretends to have hallucinations, then runs to her room. Jia and Krish follow her, enjoying her supposed suffering. Lakshmi tells them that someone is in the room. She then locks the door and reminds Jia that she has always given her a befitting reply whenever Jia has conspired against her.
It is revealed that Lakshmi had spat out the tablets once she was alone. Lakshmi realizes that there was no one in the video and concludes that someone is playing mind games with her. She recalls smelling something unusual along with the roses.
Lakshmi hits Jia and Krish with a whip and reveals that she neither took the tablets nor lit the diya placed by Jia. Lakshmi warns Jia and Krish that if they try to harm her family again, she will kill them both. She then allows them to leave.
