The episode starts with Mangal warning Sowmya to stop stooping so low. She tells her that if she continues with her wrong acts, she will be forced to take action against her. Shanti arrives and says that Mangal brings auspiciousness, while Sowmya brings misfortune. She adds that Sowmya can never stop her wrong deeds, which is why she safely kept the saree gifted by Adit, while Sowmya burned the other one. Shanti asks Mangal not to spoil her day as it is her mehendi ceremony and takes her away.
The mehendi artist asks Mangal what name she should write. Kusum asks her to write Adit’s name beautifully. Mangal and Adit smile at each other. A few strands of hair fall on Mangal’s face and trouble her. Adit gently fixes her hair. Ishana notices this and teases Adit, asking him to apply mehendi like Ranveer. Neel supports her, while Akshat says that his father is blushing. Ishana makes Adit sit beside Mangal and writes Mangal’s name on his hand. Akshat tells Mangal that it is the best day and that he is very happy. Ishana tells Adit that God has finally listened to their prayers and reunited her parents, wishing that they never get separated again as they want both their father and mother together. Kusum wards off the evil eye from Adit and Mangal and tells Mangal that happiness has returned to the house because of her.
Shanti goes to Sowmya and rebukes her, saying that she had snatched Mangal’s husband and family from her, but Mangal has regained everything and Sowmya could do nothing. She declares that Mangal has won in the end and forces Sowmya to eat sweets to celebrate. Sowmya refuses, but Shanti feeds her forcefully and leaves.
Ishana and Neel, along with their grandparents, dance at their parents’ mehendi ceremony. Adit and Mangal blush while watching each other. Akshat also starts dancing, which worries Mangal. She asks him to come and sit with her, but Akshat questions why she is stopping him from dancing and says that she stops him from everything. Adit suggests that they all dance together. Akshat agrees and asks Mangal to join them. Neel plays a song, and Adit and Mangal dance happily. Sowmya grows furious seeing this.
Sowmya notices the doctor calling Mangal. She smirks and thinks of a vengeful plan. Mangal sees her phone ringing and goes to the room to attend the call. Sowmya plays the doctor’s call on speaker in front of everyone, revealing Akshat’s medical condition. Akshat breaks down in tears. Kusum asks Adit whether Akshat really has a hole in his heart. Adit nods silently. Mangal comes out of the room and sees everyone distressed, unable to understand what has happened. Akshat asks Mangal if he truly has a hole in his heart, if she is worried about his surgery, and whether he is going to die. Mangal drops the phone in shock. Seeing everyone in tears, Sowmya thinks to herself that she feels relieved watching their pain. Akshat tearfully asks Mangal if he is really going to die.
