The episode begins with Mangal lighting a diya and making sure it doesn’t go out. Adit calls Bhabhi ji and asks her to recommend a heart surgeon if she knows anyone. Bhabhi ji apologizes to Adit and says she doesn’t know any heart surgeon.
The Saxena family grows anxious after hearing the sound of a siren from the operation theatre. Adit asks the doctor what happened to Akshat. The doctor says Akshat’s condition is critical and that they need to perform the surgery immediately.
Mangal requests the doctor to proceed with the surgery. However, the doctor tells her they cannot operate because their heart surgeon has cancelled all appointments, and all the other heart surgeons are busy. Hearing this, Mangal questions the hospital’s management and demands the receptionist give her the heart surgeon’s address immediately.
Meanwhile, Sowmya eats food by herself and thinks that if Akshat dies, she will prepare the menu for his mourning ceremony. She looks at the Saxena family photo and breaks it. Suddenly, Sowmya feels pain in her stomach and assumes it is labour pain.
Mangal reaches Dr. Deepak’s house and learns from the maid that Dr. Deepak has already left in his car. Mangal spots an auto with the keys inside, drives it herself, and chases the car.
Mangal stops Dr. Deepak’s car. Dr. Deepak steps out, and Mangal falls at his feet, begging him to save her son. She tells him Akshat is admitted to their hospital and that only he can save him. Dr. Deepak refuses, saying he is on leave. Mangal argues that her son’s life is at stake and that it is his duty as a doctor to save him. At that moment, Dr. Deepak’s daughter calls out from the car, reminding him that the groom’s family is waiting. Dr. Deepak says his daughter is getting married today, and he needs to be there for her as a father. His wife also steps out and says Dr. Deepak has always prioritized his patients, requesting Mangal to let him go today. Dr. Deepak leaves.
Back at the hospital, Ishana asks Kusum if Akshat will die. Kusum assures her nothing will happen, as Mangal has gone to bring the doctor. Mangal returns to the hospital. Adit asks if she brought the doctor, but Mangal stays silent, leaving Adit hopeless. Just then, Dr. Deepak arrives and assures Mangal that nothing will happen to her son. Mangal asks about his daughter’s wedding, and Dr. Deepak says his daughter will understand. Mangal thanks the doctor.
Dr. Deepak asks Adit to bring Akshat’s previous reports, as he needs to go through them before surgery. Adit says he will get them from home and leaves. The staff brings Akshat on a stretcher. Mangal encourages him and tells him nothing will happen. Akshat calls out, “Dad.” The doctor says it will be better if Akshat’s father stays there. Mangal runs out and sends Adit back to be with Akshat while she goes home to collect the reports.
The nurses take Akshat to the operating room. Sowmya experiences labour pain and calls Adit, but he doesn’t answer. Mangal reaches home, searches for Akshat’s reports, and finds them. As she is about to leave, she sees Sowmya lying on the floor in pain. Mangal asks Sowmya to get up because they need to go to the hospital, but Sowmya says she cannot come.
At the hospital, the doctor asks Adit where the reports are. Adit says Mangal went to get them and will return soon. Adit calls Mangal, and she tells him she is still at home. Adit asks her to send the reports on his phone, and Mangal sends them. Mangal is about to inform him about Sowmya, but the call gets disconnected. Adit shows the reports to the doctor. The doctor says the surgery was delayed due to the absence of the reports, and that is why Akshat’s condition is still critical.
