The episode starts with Jia announcing to the Kapoor family that she and Krish are getting married. Karan congratulates Krish.
Lakshmi tells Karan that Krish and Jia are lying and says the photo is fake. Jia comments on Lakshmi and asks her to stop planting doubts in Karan’s mind. Karan tells Jia that there is nothing like that and says they are happy for her.
Krish asks Jia if she has gone crazy and questions her about when he ever proposed to her. Jia tells Krish that she is just handling the situation. She reminds him that Lakshmi overheard their conversation and was about to expose them, so she had to do something drastic to end Lakshmi’s game. Jia adds that it is a good thing Karan believed them. Krish asks what they will do if Lakshmi tries to stop their marriage. Jia replies that even if they get married, nothing will change between them and that their goal will remain the same.
Lakshmi thinks she needs to be careful around Krish and Jia. Karan comes to Lakshmi and asks for her help as he is having trouble wearing the dhoti. Lakshmi teases Karan while helping him, and Karan flirts with her. Later, Karan asks Lakshmi to bless Krish and Jia.
During the wedding rituals, Jia stops the priest and tells Dadi that, according to a ritual from her side, the sister-in-law must wash the bride’s feet. Jia pleads with Lakshmi to perform the ritual, saying that skipping it would feel inauspicious. Karan also requests Lakshmi, and she agrees.
Lakshmi brings hot water to wash Jia’s feet, causing Jia’s feet to burn. Jia accuses Lakshmi of deliberately pouring hot water on her feet. Lakshmi then places another steel pot of water on the floor, proving that the water is cold. Karan also supports Lakshmi. Lakshmi warns Jia that such things happen when someone tries to play dirty tricks. Lakshmi asks Jia if she wants her feet washed again, but Jia refuses.
Krish and Jia eventually get married. Jia prepares for the Griha Pravesh ritual and tells Lakshmi that she heard Lakshmi could not perform her Griha Pravesh properly, so they should do the ritual together. Dadi agrees. Lakshmi brings another sindoor ki thaal, while Jia secretly mixes glass shards into it.
Lakshmi notices something wrong with the sindoor ki thaal and suggests that only Jia perform the Griha Pravesh since it is her special day. Dadi agrees.
Jia tilts the kalash with her feet. Lakshmi pours the contents of both sindoor ki thaals into one and asks Jia to step into it. Jia steps into the thaal, suppresses her pain, and leaves.

Precap: Mangal taunts Sowmya, revealing that although she accused Sowmya of killing her baby to get rid of her, the baby is actually alive. Sowmya asks Mangal who will believe her. Lakshmi confronts Mangal and tells Sowmya not to underestimate the bond between sisters.
