The episode begins with Rishi asking what if he refuses to lie to his family. Ankush says he will inform the hospital that Indranath collapsed due to Jhanak’s negligence. Rishi says Ankush will get caught in the investigation. Ankush says Jhanak’s career will be ruined before investigation results come out. Rishi says Jhanak did nothing wrong. Ankush asks what if Jhanak disappears like she never existed. He says Rishi has no idea what all he can do with Jhanak. He calls his family from his phone and puts the phone on speaker.
Tanushri picks up the call and asks Rishi where he is. Rishi lies; he came out of Kolkata yesterday due to an assignment. Tanushri asks him why he did not inform anyone. Rishi replies it’s a confidential assignment. Tanushri asks him where Jhanak is. Rishi informs her that Jhanak is fine. And Jhanak is doing duty in the hospital. Tanushri asks him to return home soon. Rishi agrees. Ankush disconnected the call. Rishi says he hates Ankush’s kind of people. Ankush says he doesn’t care about that. Rishi says Jhanak will ruin Ankush if she gets saved then. Ankush says if that happened, then he will think he chose the right person for his work.
In the hospital, Jhanak thinks one injection can kill Indranath, so how can she do that? And if she doesn’t do that, then Rishi will die. She decides to think like a doctor to solve this problem. She notices Ankush’s doctor left the room. She also goes out and takes a smaller dose of medicine and decides to give that to Indranath. Mishti comes there and asks why Jhanak did not inform anyone about her duty. Jhanak replies it happened suddenly; that’s why she did not get time. Mishti asks where Jhanak stayed last night. Jhanak sees Ankush’s doctor returned. She tells Mishti that she is busy, so she will talk to the latter later.
Mishti asks whether anything happened. Jhanak shook her head and went inside. She thinks this is the right chance and injects Indranath. Indranath says he trusts Jhanak completely. He feels dizzy and falls asleep. Jhanak thinks she won’t let anything happen to Indranath. She throws a smaller dose of medicine in the dustbin. Then she pours the overdose medicine into the dustbin. Ankush’s doctor comes there and asks what Jhanak did. Jhanak lies to him; she injected the medicine that Indranath gave her into Indranath. Ankush’s doctor asks her not to try to act oversmart because Rishi is in Ankush’s custody. Jhanak nods at him. The nurse comes there and tells Jhanak that the principal called the latter.
Jhanak goes to the principal’s room. The principal tells her to take care of Indranath’s nursing and supervision. He says Jhanak won Indranath’s trust; that’s why she got this responsibility. Banumati says they have seen so many betrayers in politics. But she trusts Jhanak completely. Jhanak assures Banumati that she will fulfill her responsibility. And she won’t disappoint Banumati. Banumati asks Jhanak to be strong because Indranath’s life is in the latter’s hands. Jhanak thanks Banumati for trusting her. She leaves from there.
Mishti informs Neelu that Jhanak is doing her duty in the hospital. She says Jhanak is assigned to do Indranath’s duty. And Jhanak did not talk to her well. Neelu says Jhanak thinks she got so much power; that’s why. Mishti says Jhanak looked sleepy, so maybe she spent the night with Rishi. Dadabhai asks Mishti not to say things like that. Putul says maybe Jhanak is really busy; that’s why she did not talk to Mishti well. Neelu says Putul always defends Jhanak. Mishti says something was definitely off. She asks whether Rishi called them. Neelu informs Mishti that Rishi went out for a confidential assignment.
On the other side, Jhanak thinks she can’t let either Indranath or Rishi die. And Ankush may kill her and Rishi once Indranath dies. She writes about Ankush’s plan in the medical report file. Doctors come there. Jhanak says nothing is stable for Indranath. The senior doctor asks what medicine Jhanak gave to Indranath. Jhanak lies; she followed the chart instruction that the senior doctor gave her. The senior doctor says he gave mild medicine, so why is it happening now? Because when he came last time, everything was normal.
Meanwhile, Aditi goes to Rishi’s house. Tanushri asks how Aditi is doing. Abhimanyu tells Aditi about Rishi’s confidential assignment. Tanushri says Rishi sounded weird. Aditi says maybe Rishi lied. Tanushri tells Aditi that Jhanak is doing duty in the hospital. Neelu says that’s what they were told by Rishi. And Tanushri saw what happened on Christmas Day. Aditi asks what happened that day. Abhimanyu asks Neelu to keep quiet. Aditi says she wants Rishi with truth.
Ankush’s doctor says Jhanak did nothing wrong. The senior doctor says they can’t take Indranath to surgery in this condition. He asks Jhanak to give the medical report file to him. Jhanak hopes the senior doctor reads her letter and gives the file to him. But the senior doctor closed the file without reading the letter. He says, “Let’s postpone the surgery for now.” He asks Jhanak to stay beside Indranath and take care of him. Jhanak nods at him. The senior doctor leaves from there. Jhanak thinks she won’t lose except that she will save both Rishi and Indranath.
Tanushri calls Rishi, but the phone is switched off. Aditi says they can find out Rishi’s location using the Find My Gadget app. But she can track location only when Rishi’s phone is switched on.

Precap: Jhanak recalls Ankush’s words. She apologized to Indranath in her mind. She thinks she has to do this to save Rishi.
Our Take: Jhanak outsmarts Ankush’s doctor by changing the medicine that he gave her. Due to this, Indranath’s surgery gets postponed. But this is not a final victory. Aditi suspects Rishi lied about the confidential assignment, and Jhanak is behind that. As usual, Aditi will be proved wrong.
