The episode starts with Deepa asking Bhagyasree to take rest and saying that she will do the remaining work. Bhagyasree tells Deepa that if she does all the work, she will become lazy. Bhagyasree also tells Deepa that she will help her.
Vijayanti comes to the Kothari house and tells Deepa that she regrets the day Deepa was born. Vijayanti says that ever since Deepa came into their lives, everything has been ruined. She asks Deepa what they have done to her that she has so much enmity towards them. Deepa asks Vijayanti what happened. Vijayanti comments on Deepa and accuses her of filing a police case against Bhanu. Deepa tells Vijayanti that she hasn’t filed any police case against Bhanu, but Vijayanti continues to accuse her. Bhagyasree defends Deepa, but Kanika comments on Bhagyasree for supporting Deepa without any proof. Deepa insists that she is telling the truth and that she hasn’t filed any case.
Karthik arrives and tells Vijayanti that Deepa is telling the truth. He says that he is the one who filed the case against Bhanu. Karthik says he saw Bhanu hitting Deepa and threatening to kill her. Vijayanti says that if Bhanu really did that, then Deepa must have provoked him. Karthik comments on Vijayanti for siding with Bhanu. Vijayanti says she only wants Bhanu to get out of jail. She asks Deepa to come with her and take back the police complaint. Karthik warns Vijayanti that if she doesn’t leave, she will also go to jail. Vijayanti threatens Deepa and leaves.
Chitralekha asks Karthik why he needed to file a complaint against Bhanu. She says Deepa could have filed the police complaint herself. Karthik tells her that even if someone else was in Deepa’s place, he would have done the same. He asks the Kothari family if he has done anything wrong by raising his voice for women’s rights. Everyone stays silent, and Karthik leaves.
Karthik runs into Jyoti. Jyoti shows Karthik a doll she made and says its name is Collector Jyoti. She tells him that Deepa dreams of her becoming an IAS officer, so she made the doll. Karthik says he prays to God and hopes she truly becomes an IAS officer. Jyoti thanks him and leaves.
Deepa comes to Karthik and asks him why he thinks she will come to the police station the next day and give her statement. Karthik says it is because of trust. Deepa asks Karthik why he does so much for her. Karthik adjusts the bandage on Deepa’s neck and says he cannot bear to see anyone hurting her. He then leaves.
Vijayanti tells Bhanu that she had already warned him to stay away from Deepa, but he didn’t listen. She says he is now in jail because he messed with Deepa. Bhanu asks Vijayanti to calm down and let him think. He then asks her to send a message to Deepa, and Vijayanti agrees.
The next day, Karthik waits for Deepa at the police station. Deepa arrives and gives her statement, saying Bhanu hasn’t done anything to her. She claims she slipped and fell. After hearing Deepa’s statement, the police inspector releases Bhanu. Vijayanti takes Bhanu and leaves.
It is shown that Vijayanti tells Deepa she will reveal the truth to Jyoti—that Jyoti is Bhanu’s daughter. Vijayanti tells Deepa that if Deepa can do anything for her daughter, then Vijayanti can also do anything for Bhanu.
Karthik confronts Deepa and asks why she lied in her statement. Deepa tells Karthik to stay out of their lives and says she can handle her life on her own. Karthik tells Deepa that from now on, he will not interfere in her life. Deepa silently apologises to Karthik in her heart and says she did it for her daughter.
Deepa runs into Vijayanti and Bhanu. Vijayanti tells Deepa that she is not worthy of being Krishna’s daughter. Vijayanti recalls the promise she made to Krishna about not telling Deepa that she isn’t his real daughter. Vijayanti tells Deepa that she is only worthy of dirt and tries to throw it on her face, but a car passes by, and the dirt in Vijayanti’s hand gets blown away. Bhanu takes Vijayanti away from there.
Karthik wonders why he can’t stay away from Deepa, no matter how many times she asks him to.
The episode ends.
Precap: Kanika calls Karthik and asks him to take her to the temple because she wants to do pooja for both of them. Deepa tells Jyoti that they have to go to the temple because it is Krishna’s death anniversary today.
A plate of sindoor falls on the floor. Deepa and Karthik close their eyes, step on the sindoor, and walk forward, leaving their footprints in the temple. Seeing this, the priest thinks that God’s blessings are with this couple.
Our Take:
Deepa’s sacrifice for Jyoti once again proves she will go to any extent for her daughter, even if it means hurting Karthik. Karthik stands strongly for Deepa and women’s safety, but Deepa’s lie leaves him heartbroken and pushed away. Vijayanti’s threats and hidden truth about Jyoti being Bhanu’s daughter promise bigger drama and emotional twists ahead.
