The episode starts with Kailashnath telling Mahindra that he must make sure everything is perfect tomorrow. Mahindra agrees. Kailashnath then tells Bhagyashree that tomorrow is a very special day for him. Kanika greets Chitralekha. Kailashnath and the others congratulate Kanika, as tomorrow is her pre-engagement ceremony. Kanika asks Chitralekha why she is not congratulating her. Chitralekha refuses, saying she is worried Kanika might get the evil eye and comments on it.
Chitralekha suggests to the Kothari family that they should not tell Karthik about the pre-engagement ceremony and that he should believe it is Chitralekha’s birthday instead. Mahindra and the others agree with Chitralekha’s suggestion.
Later, Chitralekha calls Jyoti and asks Deepa to swear on Jyoti that she will not tell Karthik about the pre-engagement ceremony. Deepa asks Chitralekha how she can speak like that. Jyoti refuses and says that if Deepa takes a false oath on her, she will die, commenting emotionally. Deepa asks Jyoti to go and study and sends her inside. Deepa tells Chitralekha that there is no need for an oath over such a small matter. Kailashnath says that he trusts Deepa. Deepa promises that she will not tell Karthik about the roka and says she will pray to God for everything to happen in a good way.
Later, Deepa looks at the moon and thinks that tomorrow is Karthik’s roka and that he is entering a new phase of his life. Karthik also looks at the moon from his place and recalls his moments with Deepa with a smile. He thinks of sending her a good-night message but stops himself, thinking she might scold him. He says that tomorrow he will meet Deepa and until then wishes her good night and sweet dreams.
Deepa hears a sound and goes to Jyoti, asking if she is fine. Jyoti says she is fine and that a plate just fell down.
Deepa recalls Bhanu’s warning and makes Jyoti promise to inform her before taking any action or going anywhere.
Kanchan struggles to open the locker. Ranjit comes there and asks why she did not call him or Karthik for help and what if she gets hurt. Kanchan explains that she is trying to take out the ancestral necklace set to gift Kanika on her roka. Since the roka is a surprise for Karthik, she did not seek his help. Ranjit agrees. Kanchan takes out the necklace set and says that Ranjit’s mother gifted it to her and now she will gift it to her daughter-in-law.
Kanika asks Chitralekha how she is looking. Chitralekha says she looks like a fairy. Kanika asks her not to praise her and says that whenever she is happy, problems arise. Chitralekha asks if she is still thinking about Deepa. Kanika replies that Deepa is not the problem, but her daughter Jyoti is also a troublemaker. Chitralekha assures her that she will get rid of all her problems. While Kanika is wearing her dupatta on the lehenga, it accidentally catches fire from the candles. Chitralekha quickly saves her by pouring water on it. Kanika says that a burning dupatta is a bad sign. Chitralekha tells her not to believe such things and says she will order another dupatta and also call a pandit to perform a pooja so that nothing goes wrong with Kanika’s engagement to Karthik. Kanika agrees.
Deepa makes a rangoli. Bhagyashree sees it and praises Deepa’s talent, saying that her Radha-Krishna rangoli is beautiful. They also talk about the love of Radha and Krishna. Deepa says the rangoli is complete and that she will go inside to do other work. Deepa decorates the house and asks Jyoti not to run, warning that she might get hurt. She instructs the workers to place the sweets and other items in the kitchen. Bhanu covers his face and tries to enter the Kothari house. His face is about to be revealed to Deepa, but he quickly covers it and goes inside. Deepa feels suspicious and senses that the worker who just entered is someone she knows.
