The episode starts with Karan telling Dadi that since his brother’s marriage took place in this house, all the remaining rituals will also happen here. Karan announces to everyone that Jia’s Mu Dikhai ritual will be held in this house. Jia requests Karan that she would like Lakshmi to help her get ready for the ritual. Karan asks Lakshmi to help Jia, and Lakshmi agrees.
Lakshmi helps Jia get ready, but once Lakshmi leaves the room, Jia applies red colour to her face. Jia then calls all the family members.
Krish comes and asks Jia what happened. Jia questions Lakshmi about what she applied to her face. Lakshmi says she has only applied normal makeup. Jia tells Lakshmi that she has forgiven her, but Lakshmi still considers her an enemy. Bhavani accuses Lakshmi and calls her Jia’s enemy. Karan questions Lakshmi about what she applied. Lakshmi asks Karan not to believe Jia and says she is just acting. Karan scolds Lakshmi, saying she might have applied some expired cream. He tells Jia not to worry and says he knows a good skin doctor and will call her immediately. Everyone leaves. Jia later washes her face and feels relieved.
Later, Lakshmi disguises herself as a makeup artist and applies a facial to Jia. Jia soon feels a burning sensation on her face and asks what is happening. Lakshmi removes her disguise and tells Jia that since Jia framed her for something she didn’t do, she decided to actually do it this time. Jia rushes to the washroom and washes her face.
During the Mu Dikhai function, Dadi gifts a pearl necklace to Lakshmi as her daughter-in-law.
Jia bribes a waiter and makes him spill juice on Dadi. Dadi goes to the washroom, and Jia secretly plants a small bomb in the pearl necklace.
Dadi later asks Karan to put the necklace around Lakshmi’s neck. Jia thinks to herself that she wanted Lakshmi’s face to burn so that no one would want to look at her anymore.
Jia imagines locking Lakshmi in a room and her face getting burned in the blast, but Krish snaps her out of her trance.
The guests ask Lakshmi what gift she will give Jia to match the pearl necklace. Lakshmi announces that she will gift the same pearl necklace to Jia.
Lakshmi hugs Jia and silently tells her that she tried to harm her with the necklace, but now it will kill her instead. Jia tries to return the necklace, but Lakshmi stops her. The ladies ask Jia to sing a song. Jia says her health is not good and tries to leave, but Lakshmi stops her and insists that she sing, as everyone knows she sings well. Jia starts singing “Bole Choodiyan”, but she becomes scared seeing the necklace around her neck.
In panic, Jia removes the necklace and throws it away, shouting for everyone to escape as it is about to blast. Karan and the family are shocked. Karan says Jia is joking and asks why she threw Lakshmi’s gift. Jia wonders why the blast didn’t happen.
Lakshmi tells Bhavani aunty and Dadi that she extended a hand of friendship toward Jia as they wanted, but Jia rejected it. Lakshmi recalls how she had defused the bomb in the necklace earlier. Dadi tells Jia that she cannot tolerate Lakshmi being insulted and orders Jia to apologise in front of everyone. Jia apologises and says she felt itching after wearing the necklace, so she threw it away.
Lakshmi accepts the apology, hugs Jia, and silently asks her how the humiliation felt.
