The episode starts with Lakshmi calling Karan and asking him to end his meeting and come home. Karan agrees. Lakshmi agrees and disconnects the call. She thinks that Mangal needs to get rid of Sowmya, just as she needs to get rid of Jia.
Lakshmi finds Krish completely drunk and decides to use his condition to expose him and Jia. She asks Dadi to watch a live video on the laptop that she plans to stream from her mobile. Dadi agrees. Lakshmi then confronts Krish and asks why he and Jia are pretending to be married. Krish reveals that the marriage is fake and that Jia is helping him get what he wants—Lakshmi. He says he plans to separate Lakshmi from Karan and take her away. Lakshmi warns him to stop his schemes. When he tries to get close to her, she hits him with a vase and rushes downstairs.
Lakshmi asks Dadi if she saw Krish’s true face, but Dadi does not respond. Lakshmi realizes that Dadi has fallen asleep. Karan reaches home and calls Lakshmi, telling her that he has brought a cute baby he found alone on the road as a surprise. Lakshmi says she does not see any baby on the sofa. Karan clarifies that it is a small baby and asks everyone to search. The baby drops something on the floor, causing Jia to slip and fall. Jia notices the baby and asks whose child she is. Lakshmi and Karan arrive and see the baby. Lakshmi mocks Jia and lovingly plays with the baby, praising her for making Jia fall. Karan wonders who could have abandoned the child and reassures the baby that they are there for her.
Lakshmi feels an emotional connection with the baby and wonders why she feels so complete holding her. Dadi notices Lakshmi’s happiness and comments on it. Karan reminds everyone that they cannot get too attached, as the baby will be taken away once a police complaint is filed. The lady reveals that the baby has a birthmark on her right foot. Jia checks and finds the same birthmark on the baby Karan brought home, leaving her shocked.
