The episode begins with Tanushri saying she will stop cooking if Jhanak enters the kitchen then. Jhanak says she makes tea for Dadabhai every day; that’s why she made it today. But she won’t enter the kitchen if Tanushri has a problem then. Indumati asks Jhanak to stop this act. She says Jhanak can’t make a place for herself in this house after breaking Aditi’s marriage. And they won’t fall in Jhanak’s trap.
Jhanak says she is not trapping anyone. Tanushri warns Jhanak to never enter the kitchen. Jhanak asks why she is getting treated like this. And what wrong she did. She says she was ready to leave the house. Indumati says Jhanak says this always but never leaves. And Rishi supports Jhanak always whenever Jhanak claims to leave the house. Jhanak says her marriage really happened with Rishi. Tanushri says she knew Jhanak came up with this plan. And they should not trust Jhanak-kind of girl.
Indumati says Nutan was in a relationship with a man who was already married. And Jhanak is doing the same now. Jhanak gets angry hearing this and warns Indumati to stop it. She says no one can insult her mother. Tanushri tells Jhanak to stop it. She says Jhanak doesn’t have the right to talk in this tone by staying in their house. Jhanak demands an apology from Indumati. She asks why Indumati is insulting Nutan. Tanushri says Indumati won’t apologize. She tauntingly tells Jhanak to go to court and file a case against them. Jhanak says they don’t know anything about Nutan, yet they still insult her. Indumati orders Jhanak to pack her bag and leave from there.
Rishi comes there. Jhanak says she doesn’t have any problem leaving the house. She tells Rishi that she is getting treated like this because of his announcement. She asks why Nutan is getting blamed when Aniruddh also had a relationship with Nutan when he had a wife and daughter. She says Nutan’s love was true, and Nutan got betrayal. Rishi asks his family not to insult Nutan. Tanushri tells him that they can do whatever they want. And Jhanak is not allowed to enter the kitchen. Rishi asks Jhanak why she went to the kitchen when her final year exams are coming.
Jhanak says she wants to leave the house. She asks him whether he likes to see her getting insulted like this. Tanushri asks Rishi to choose between her and Jhanak. She says Rishi’s relationship will end with her if he marries Jhanak then. Rishi says it’s not like he is going to marry Jhanak right now. Indumati asks Rishi whether his marriage with Aditi was a game. Rishi says he did not say that. And his marriage happened with Jhanak first. He reveals he is choosing Jhanak. Tanushri gets heartbroken hearing this. She says Rishi was not like this. Jhanak asks Rishi what he is saying. She says everyone will think she instigated Rishi. Indumati says Rishi did not behave with them like this when he was with Aditi. Rishi asks them to understand his relationship with Aditi ended. Tanushri cries and goes inside.
On the other side, Aditi reaches the party with her parents. Mr. Mitra welcomes Aniruddh’s family. He says he is glad Aditi came. He asks Aditi whether Rishi is on a mission today too. Aditi gets awkward hearing this. Mr. Mitra says he forgot Aniruddh said Aditi lives in the Bose house now.
Mr. Mitra’s son Koushik plays guitar and sings a song. He looks at Aditi. Mr. Mitra introduces his son Koushik to Aditi. He says Aditi met Koushik in childhood. Mr. Mitra’s wife, Rupa, takes Arshi with her.
Koushik goes to Aditi and says they played a lot when they were kids. Aditi tells him that she really doesn’t remember. Koushik compliments her. Aditi asks him why he returned from abroad when he had settled there. Koushik replies he doesn’t like to settle. Aditi says she heard Koushik’s marriage will be announced at this party. Koushik says he needs to find a girl for that. And he did not find the X factor in any girl. Aditi tells him that she will help him to find that girl. Koushik asks her what she is doing. Aditi replies she is a lecturer. She goes to Arshi and Rupa.
Rupa says Koushik is not interested in business. And they have only one son, so who will manage their business? Koushik calls Aditi. Rupa says she is happy Koushik is vibing with Aditi. Arshi says it will be good if Koushik and Aditi become friends. Aditi goes to Koushik.
Mr. Batra tells Aniruddh to arrange Aditi’s divorce first. And he can think about Aditi and Koushik’s marriage after her divorce. Aniruddh gets happy hearing this. He says Rishi wants a divorce, and he is trying to convince Aditi.
Koushik asks why Aditi did not come with her husband. Aditi replies her husband is having an extramarital affair. Koushik asks her to accept that. Aditi asks why she should accept that and what flaw she has. And what about her self-respect? Koushik tells her that she is right. He asks her to become his friend. Aditi says friendship just happens. Koushik says he is very demanding. And he may reach Aditi’s house suddenly and ask her to come for trekking or a long drive. Aditi thinks she wanted this from Rishi. Koushik asks her to come with him on Sunday to explore a good place. Aditi agrees.

Our Take: Rishi is choosing Jhanak over his mother. He is crossing all the limits for Jhanak, which is wrong. Aditi is meeting Koushik, and her vibe matches with him. She needs this fresh atmosphere in her life. Because she can’t just stick with Rishi when he doesn’t deserve her and her love.
