The episode starts with Lakshmi telling Dadi that she had saved Karan’s cradle, and now it is useful for this baby. The baby happily sleeps in the cradle. Later, Jia goes to check whether the baby is hers. The baby starts crying, and Jia fails to stop the baby’s cries. Lakshmi comes there and questions why the baby is crying. Jia pretends that she doesn’t know. While leaving, Jia notices that the baby has the same mark that the orphanage people had mentioned and feels scared. She calls someone and asks them to send the baby’s photo. When she receives the photo, Jia realizes that it is the same baby she had delivered and left. Jia thinks that her secret should not come out in front of anyone and decides that she needs to do something to hide the truth.
Lakshmi notices that Jia looks stressed and wonders why Jia is so tense, as if her secret is about to be exposed. Lakshmi takes a photo of Jia and calls the inspector, saying that she has sent him Jia’s photo and that there are many cases registered against her. Lakshmi tells the inspector that Jia has been missing for two years and asks if he will help her find out where Jia has been all this time. The inspector agrees. In her heart, Lakshmi tells Jia that she will uncover her secret and expose it in front of everyone.
Karan notices Lakshmi looking sad and teases her. Later, he gifts her a diamond pendant. Lakshmi tells Karan that it is beautiful. Karan says that the pendant is special because it is a natural diamond, just like her. Lakshmi asks Karan how he got the time to buy the pendant. Karan tells her that he bought it online and comments on it.
The next day, Karan asks Lakshmi where his shirt is and says that he is getting late. He accidentally steps on the baby’s toy and falls onto Lakshmi. Karan and Lakshmi share a romantic moment before coming out of their trance. Lakshmi comments that Karan fell because of the baby. Karan jokes that the baby intentionally made him fall on her. Lakshmi reminds Karan that he is getting late. Karan agrees and says that before going to the office, he will stop by the police station, as they also need to find the baby’s parents. Lakshmi agrees, and Karan leaves.
Lakshmi goes to get milk for the baby. Jia tries to take the baby out of the house but sees Lakshmi returning and hides the baby from her. Lakshmi asks Jia why she looks stressed. Jia brushes it off, and Lakshmi leaves. Jia accidentally pushes the baby down the stairs. The baby becomes unconscious, and Lakshmi panics. She rushes the baby to the hospital.
Lakshmi gets the baby admitted to the hospital. The nurse asks her to fill out the form, stating that treatment cannot begin otherwise. Lakshmi fills out the form. Karan arrives at the hospital. Lakshmi tells Karan that she shouldn’t have left the baby alone and feels guilty, saying that if she hadn’t gone, the baby wouldn’t have fallen down the stairs. Karan comforts Lakshmi, saying that it isn’t her fault, as she had only gone to get milk for the baby.
The doctor comes out of the operation theatre and informs Karan and Lakshmi that the baby has lost a lot of blood and urgently needs O-negative blood. Lakshmi says that her blood group is O-negative. Lakshmi donates blood to save the baby.
Krish confronts Jia and demands to know why she tried to take the baby out of the house. He also tells her that he saw her pushing the baby down the stairs and asks her to tell him the truth. Jia finally agrees.
Jia shows her sonography reports to Krish and tells him that she gave birth to the baby, but the baby does not belong to her. She reveals that the baby belongs to Lakshmi and Karthik.
