The episode opens with Krishna officially announcing Naina as his fiancée, a revelation that fills the Mehta family with joy and excitement. Nandita and Queenie are especially thrilled and immediately begin discussing plans to arrange the wedding at the earliest possible date. Amid the celebrations, Naina receives an unexpected phone call from her boyfriend, Pranav. Coincidentally, Pranav has arrived at the very same restaurant to meet her. Startled and anxious, Naina deliberately ignores his repeated calls, unwilling to create a scene in front of Krishna and his family.
Using the excuse of going to the washroom, Naina quietly steps away and meets Pranav, who has been waiting impatiently. Pranav confronts her and makes it clear that he cannot tolerate the idea of her marrying someone else. He reminds her of their long-standing and intense relationship and demands reassurance. Unbeknownst to them, Khushi already suspects this meeting and follows Naina to the restaurant. She overhears their conspiracy and is deeply shaken by their true intentions. As soon as Pranav leaves, Khushi confronts Naina directly. Cornered and panicked, Naina attempts to mislead Khushi by claiming that she was only trying to push Pranav away. However, Khushi remains unconvinced, sensing that a dangerous game of betrayal has already begun.
