Jhanak 4th February 2026 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode begins with Jhanak recalling how Tanushri blamed her for Rishi and Aditi’s separation. Sanjhbati comes there and asks why Jhanak did not go to college today. Jhanak replies her mood is not good; that’s why. Sanjhbati says she understands why Jhanak’s mood is off. She asks Jhanak not to worry about what others are saying. She tells Jhanak to think about herself only.
Jhanak says Rishi said he wants to marry her after divorcing Aditi. And she knows Rishi wants to give respect, but she knows she will be blamed for the divorce. And her character will be questioned too. She says she is not that kind of girl, so she can’t tolerate that. And she is sure her mother will be dragged too because of her.
Sanjhbati asks Jhanak to not worry about that. Jhanak says Nutan suffered so much because of Arshi. Sanjhbati says they can’t change the past. She asks Jhanak to trust Rishi and think about her future. Jhanak says she is scared of Rishi’s decision. And she feels Rishi took this divorce decision in a hurry. Sanjhbati opposes her. She says she knows Rishi took this decision after thinking a lot. Jhanak says Rishi is leaving his wife for her. Sanjhbati defends Rishi.
Jhanak asks whether Sanjhbati won’t feel bad if any woman comes in between the latter and Dritimaan. She says Sanjhbati would get heartbroken, and she will think bad of that woman definitely. And this is what is happening now. Because she is another woman. Sanjhbati asks Jhanak not to think like that. Jhanak asks Sanjhbati to say how the latter would have reacted. Sanjhbati says she would have left Dritimaan. She won’t blame that woman. Jhanak says, “But society will blame that woman.”
Sanjhbati asks Jhanak not to overthink. Jhanak says she knows women always get blamed by society. Sanjhbati says Rishi loves Jhanak so much. And Jhanak won’t get a better guy than Rishi. Jhanak says she trusts Rishi, and she knows he is a good person. And she is scared Rishi can’t come out of pain after the divorce. Sanjhbati says in the beginning everyone thought Rishi and Aditi were made for each other. And soon everyone will accept Jhanak.
On the other side, Aditi and Rishi wait for the lawyer. Rishi tells Aditi that he wants to talk to her. The lawyer comes there and apologizes to them for coming late. He says he was stuck in another meeting. Aditi tells him that she and Rishi want a mutual divorce. And there is no point in dragging this relationship because they don’t want to live with each other now. The lawyer says everything will be smooth in this case. Aditi says not everything is smooth. She tells the lawyer that she met Rishi when he was a normal guy, not a police officer. But she was used and betrayed by Rishi.
Rishi tells Aditi that it’s not like that. Aditi tells him that he promised to never leave her, but he is leaving her because he loves someone else now. Rishi tells her that he loved her. Aditi tells him that she married him after knowing about his forced marriage with Jhanak. And then Rishi announced he loves Jhanak, so what about her trust? Rishi says he did not have any other choice. Aditi tells the lawyer that Rishi never cared about their relationship. Rishi says he was glad Aditi was in his life.
The lawyer asks whether Rishi is someone else, not his wife. Rishi says he loved Aditi. The lawyer asks them to think about it once again. Rishi wonders why he is in pain now. He tells the lawyer that there is no point in dragging this relationship if Aditi doesn’t see any future in this relationship. Aditi asks him whether he is saying she wants a divorce. She says Rishi initiated this divorce topic. The lawyer tells them to think and talk.
Aditi says she can’t compromise. The lawyer tells Rishi that he wants a clear answer. Rishi says Aditi doesn’t want to continue this relationship, so he wants a divorce. Aditi asks him why he is blaming her for the divorce. She reminds him that he asked for divorce first. Rishi accepts he is a villain. The lawyer tells them to wait till next week. He asks them to sign the divorce petition today.
Aditi signs on the divorce petition. Rishi thinks he loves Jhanak, which is true. He wonders whether he is doing injustice to Aditi by signing on this. He thinks Aditi supported him always, and now he is divorcing her because suddenly he fell in love with Jhanak. And it will be wrong if he stays with Aditi when he loves Jhanak. He signs on the divorce petition. They go out.
Rishi tells Aditi that he is guilty. He apologized to her for hurting her. Aditi asks him to leave it because there is no use for it. She says they won’t talk again. Rishi tells her she is taking revenge on her. Aditi tells him that she doesn’t hate him, but she is angry at him. Rishi tells her that he is not angry at her. Aditi says there is nothing left to talk about. She asks him to stay happy in his life with Jhanak. She tells him to not do with Jhanak like what he did with her. She goes out of family court.
Koushik asks Aditi what Rishi said. Aditi replies, “Rishi just signed on the divorce petition.” Rishi sees them. Koushik glares at Rishi. He holds Aditi’s hand and says, “Let’s go for a walk.” Rishi feels bad that Aditi did not wait until their divorce. He hopes Aditi sees him once.
Meanwhile, Arshi tells Aniruddh that she is glad Koushik’s parents are coming to their house. Koushik’s parents come there. They talk about Koushik and Aditi’s marriage. Arshi says they should wait until divorce happens. Koushik’s mother asks them to focus on the Aashirvad ceremony.

Precap: Rishi asks Jhanak to never leave him. Jhanak promises to never leave him. She asks how Aditi agreed to a divorce so easily. Rishi says Aditi has someone else in life now. Jhanak says Aditi moved on. But it seems like that affected Jhanak.
Our Take: Rishi feels bad seeing Aditi with Koushik. And he doesn’t know what he really wants. So he may regret in the future divorcing Aditi. He should not have blamed Aditi for the divorce. When he initiated the divorce topic, he was the reason for the divorce.
Will Rishi change his decision? Will Aditi agree to marry Koushik?
