The episode starts with Manju asking Manmeet if Dimple’s worries are true. Manmeet asks Manju what she means. Manju asks Manmeet whether it is true that Vishwas will fall sick if he donates his kidney to Aarambhi. Manmeet tells Manju that the chances are very low for Vishwas to get sick if he gives his kidney to Aarambhi. Manmeet suggests that Manju talk to Vishwas and Aarambhi. Manju asks Manmeet how she can do that and says she cannot interfere in her daughter’s marital relationship. Manmeet explains to Manju that a marital relationship means caring for each other. Manmeet tells Manju that if she is hesitant to speak the truth to them, then there are already cracks in their relationship and comments on it. Aarambhi overhears their conversation. Aarambhi starts thinking that Vishwas has betrayed her. She loses consciousness and collapses on the floor. Manmeet and Manju rush to Aarambhi.
Manmeet hurriedly takes Aarambhi to the ICU. Manju begs Vishwas to save her daughter, but Vishwas remains silent.
Manmeet informs the senior doctor that Aarambhi collapsed due to internal bleeding. The senior doctor asks Manmeet to stabilize Aarambhi until they find a donor. Manmeet says they already have a donor. The doctor replies that without the family’s consent, they cannot proceed with the donor.
The doctor comes out and informs the Tandon family that Aarambhi’s condition is critical. He says he will not give any false hope and warns that if they do not find a donor soon, Aarambhi will die.
Manju begs Vishwas to donate his kidney to Aarambhi. Dimple argues with them. Balbir confronts Vishwas and asks whether he will donate his kidney or not. Vishwas hesitates to answer. Dimple declares that her son will not donate his kidney. Balbir reminds Vishwas of the vows he took while marrying Aarambhi and again asks if he will donate his kidney. Vishwas says he will talk to Dimple. Balbir questions Vishwas, asking whether he needs his wife’s permission to save his own wife’s life. Balbir criticizes Vishwas and blames Manju and Arun for Aarambhi’s condition. He says that if Aarambhi had been a doctor, she wouldn’t be in this situation. He adds that she topped medical college and could have been a better surgeon than Vishwas, and comments bitterly. Dimple becomes anxious about Vishwas agreeing to donate his kidney and picks up a scalpel from the tray.
Dimple threatens Vishwas, saying that she will slit her wrist if he agrees to donate his kidney to Aarambhi. Vishwas says, “Aarambhi is my wife, Mom.” Dimple replies that she can die but cannot let Vihaan become an orphan. She asks what will happen to Vihaan if something happens to Vishwas. Balbir calls them liars and leaves. Vishwas takes the knife from his mother and sends her away with his father. Vihaan asks Vishwas if he will become an orphan like his grandmother said. Vishwas reassures him that nothing like that will happen.
Manmeet checks on Aarambhi and thinks that if things continue this way, Aarambhi will die. She speaks to the unconscious Aarambhi and says that her father was right—until you earn and become financially independent, no one takes you seriously. She says that is why her life philosophy is clear: she wants to earn and become self-sufficient. She adds that Aarambhi always took care of her family, but her family is not thinking about her when she needs them the most. Manmeet hears a crying sound and goes outside to see Vihaan crying. Vihaan says that his grandmother told him his mother’s condition is critical and asks if his mother will survive or if he will become an orphan. Manmeet assures him that his mother will be fine. Vihaan asks her to promise, and Manmeet promises that his mother will be okay and tells him not to cry. Vihaan thanks her and leaves. Manmeet thinks about how she knows the pain of being an orphan and decides that she will not let Vihaan face the same fate. She decides to help Aarambhi.
Manmeet undergoes medical tests to check if she can become Aarambhi’s kidney donor. The doctor asks Manmeet if she understands the consequences. Manmeet replies that she does and asks the doctor not to reveal her identity if her kidney matches. She says that Aarambhi is a gold medalist, and since her family members are not stepping forward to save her, she has decided to take this step. The doctor praises Manmeet. Manmeet thinks that she will become Aarambhi’s savior.

Precap: Avantika asks Vishwas whether Aarambhi came out of her room and if she overheard their conversation. Aarambhi wakes up and confronts Vishwas, asking what is lacking in her. She says that she left her parents, career, and dreams because she loved him. Vishwas tells her that he deserves Avantika and that they are not united because of her. Avantika says that now Vihaan calls her “Mom.”
