The episode starts with Karthik looking for a way to enter Deepa’s house. He climbs over the tiled roof and jumps into the house. When Karthik jumps, a pendant falls out of his pocket. He then opens the back door of the house.
Karthik invites Deepa into her own home. Deepa asks Karthik how he entered the house when it was locked. Karthik tells Deepa that he saw her longing to see her home and asks how he could not grant that wish. Deepa talks to Karthik about her memories with Krishna in that house.
Bhagyasree tells Jyoti that they are going outside. She asks Jyoti to complete her homework, play inside the house, and not go anywhere. Jyoti agrees.
Ranjit asks Kailashnath why he suddenly thought of visiting Karthik’s restaurant. Kailashnath says that since they were already talking about the restaurant, he thought of seeing it. Kanchan tells Kailashnath that he did the right thing and complains that Ranjit never takes her anywhere.
Jyoti is shown doing her homework. Chitralekha comes to her and asks if she knows how to iron clothes. Jyoti says no. Chitralekha asks if she never helps Deepa. Jyoti replies that she always wants to help, but Deepa only asks her to study. Chitralekha asks Jyoti to come with her and says she will teach her how to iron clothes. Jyoti agrees.
Chitralekha teaches Jyoti how to iron clothes. Jyoti tries but is unable to do it properly and tells Chitralekha the same. Chitralekha says that if Jyoti cannot even iron clothes, how will she become a collector? Hearing this, Jyoti tries again. Kanika witnesses this and asks Chitralekha why she is making Jyoti iron clothes. She comments that children have to pay for their parents’ sins.
Bhagyasree, Mahindra, and Kailashnath return home and see Chitralekha making Jyoti iron clothes. Bhagyasree stops Jyoti and asks who told her to do so. Jyoti says it was Chitralekha. Kailashnath sends Jyoti away. Bhagyasree argues with Chitralekha for making Jyoti iron clothes. Chitralekha says she is only teaching Jyoti household chores, as after growing up she will go to her husband’s house and needs to know these things. Kailashnath asks Chitralekha if she knows household chores. She replies yes. Kailashnath then asks Bhagyasree to bring all the clothes in the house. Chitralekha asks why. Kailashnath says he wants to see how well she knows household work. Bhagyasree leaves to get the clothes.
Chitralekha apologises to Kailashnath. Kailashnath tells her that what she has done is not worth forgiving.
Bhagyasree brings the clothes. Kailashnath asks Chitralekha to iron all of them, or else he will give her even more work. Chitralekha agrees and starts ironing. In her heart, she vows to take revenge on Deepa for today’s humiliation.
Deepa shows Karthik her father’s belongings with nostalgia. Karthik tells Deepa that he has never seen her this happy. Deepa says how much her father loved her and that she could not fulfil his dream of her becoming a collector. Karthik asks her not to worry and says Jyoti will fulfil their dream.
Deepa finds the pendant on the floor and recalls that it is her mother Sumitra’s last memento. Karthik notices the pendant in Deepa’s hand and tells her that it belongs to him. He thanks Deepa for finding it, saying it is equal to his heart. Deepa says she does not understand what he means. Karthik explains that when he was a child, a girl saved him after he fell into a pool. He says he hopes to meet her one day and tell her that the life he has today is her gift, and that he would give her whatever she wants. Deepa thinks about how she can tell Karthik that she was the one who saved him.
The episode ends.
Precap: In court, Bhanu’s lawyer Jayakanth calls Deepa to the witness stand and asks about her relationship with Karthik. Deepa says she has no relationship with him and that he is just someone who helps others. Jayakanth asks why Karthik has written his name in Jyoti’s father’s place if he is only helping her. The Kothari family is shocked to hear this. Jayakanth accuses Deepa and Karthik of having an affair. Sonali objects. Jayakanth claims he has proof and says that Karthik and Deepa stayed together in a house after obtaining the birth certificate from the Panchayat.
