The episode starts with Mahindra telling Bhagyasree that Chitralekha crossed the line today by making Jyoti iron the clothes. Mahindra says he hopes Karthik will return home quickly, as Ranjit and Kanchan are waiting for him.
Bhagyasree tells Mahindra that she hopes Deepa will get Jyoti’s birth certificate. She also says that she hopes no one gets a husband like Bhanu and comments on it.
Karthik tells Deepa that he hopes wherever she is—the girl who saved him when he was a child (Karthik doesn’t know it was Deepa)—she will be happy and her life will be filled with joy. Deepa tells Karthik that he is hoping for nothing but joy and says that he is thinking too much. Karthik tells Deepa that he has always prayed for her happiness and well-being. He says that if he ever learns that she isn’t happy or well, he would never trust God again. Deepa thinks to herself that she will never allow Karthik to know that she is the one who saved him in the past. Deepa tells Karthik that, just like him, she also hopes that the girl will be happy and well wherever she is.
A gust of wind blows through the window, causing dust to fall into Karthik’s eyes. Deepa notices that her childhood photo has fallen onto the floor. Karthik tells Deepa that dust has gone into his eyes. Deepa tells him that she cannot clean it and asks him to come outside to wash his eyes. Karthik agrees.
Kanchan talks to Karthik over the phone. Ranjit asks Kanchan what Karthik told her. Kanchan says that Karthik is on the way and that they will reach home soon. Ranjit tells Kanchan that it is good that Karthik is helping Deepa, but he also has responsibilities toward Kanika. Kanchan reminds Ranjit that Karthik and Kanika are childhood friends and would make the best couple. Ranjit says that he also hopes this will happen, but in reality, Karthik thinks of Kanika only as his childhood friend and assumes she will always understand him. Ranjit says this is called taking someone for granted and comments that many relationships have been ruined because of such thinking.
Bhanu tells his friend over the phone that he will arrange the money for the work. He asks Shobha to prepare to invite Jyoti home. Shobha asks Bhanu if he is really serious. Bhanu tells her that Deepa thinks the court will only see the truth, but the court will only see what he wants to show. He says that Deepa has only two things—her dignity and Jyoti—and that she will lose both very soon.
Sonali talks to Deepa over the phone and asks if they have obtained the birth certificate. Deepa says yes. Sonali reminds Deepa that tomorrow is the first hearing and that she must attend it. Deepa agrees.
Karthik and Deepa get into the car and prepare to leave. Deepa notices blood on the steering wheel and asks Karthik to stop the car. She realizes that Karthik is in pain, yet he still wants to drive. Deepa argues with him and says they will find another way, but he will not drive the car. Deepa refuses to listen, no matter what Karthik says.
Kanika worries because Karthik and Deepa have still not returned home. She complains to Chitralekha about it. Chitralekha tells Kanika that she hopes Karthik and Deepa will not return until tomorrow. Kanika asks Chitralekha why she is saying such things and questions whether she has gone mad. Chitralekha tells Kanika to think in the long run. She says that if Deepa does not appear in court tomorrow, she will lose custody of Jyoti, and then Deepa will have no reason to stay there.
Deepa asks everyone if they know how to drive a car, but everyone says no. Deepa prays to the Goddess and asks her to show her the way. The priest tells Deepa that her wish will come true and blesses her.
Deepa arrives on a scooter to pick up Karthik. Karthik asks her where she found this junk. Deepa says it is not junk and that it will take them to their destination. She asks Karthik to get on the scooter, and he agrees. Deepa and Karthik leave for Hyderabad on the scooter.

Jayakanth claims he has proof and states that Karthik and Deepa stayed together in a house after obtaining the birth certificate from the Panchayat.
