Episode starts with Mangal teaching Sonal how to cook. She says Sonal should not waste her time behind studies. She should learn household work instead. She will get good marriage proposals as well. Sonal says education is important and she wants to be like Siddhi. Mangal taunts Siddhi saying she doesn’t even know how to respect her husband. Sonal should not become like Siddhi. Siddhi overhears that and turns back. She gets surprised seeing Shiva who was also overhearing Mangal and Sonal’s talk. Siddhi leaves from there.
Shiva sees one parcel has come. He goes to sign but fails to read whats written on it in English. Siddhi calls Sonal and tells her to sign. Sonal receives the parcel which is for her. Siddhi gives her one novel called Canterbury Tales. Sonal asks who will teach her English. Siddhi says this time she will hire a teacher for Sonal and will make sure that the teacher won’t get fired. Mangal gets irked. Shiva leaves angrily.
Shiva punches the punching bag and gets lost in thoughts. He recalls Siddhi’s taunts and Ishvar’s words. He gets hurt while punching the bag. Siddhi notices that and comes to him to treat it but Shiva says she doesn’t need to show fake concern. He leaves.
Mangal warns Siddhi saying she is Sonal’s mother and she will only take Sonal’s life decisions not Siddhi. Siddhi adamantly says Sonal will pursue her studies no matter what. Sonal overhears that.
Shiva waits for Akkabai. Bhave says she is still angry with him. Shiva says it’s his fault so he will wait for her. Shiva gets worried about Sonal’s studies. Bhave informs Shiva that Akkabai is busy in meeting. She can’t meet him. Shiva leaves upset. Sarkar tells Bhave to buy some gifts for Siddhi and Sonal.
Siddhi makes poha for everyone. Shiva tells Vijaya to serve poha for someone else. He welcomes Kiran and says he is the new teacher of Sonal. Siddhi gets surprised. Shiva tells him to have breakfast. Mangal questions Shiva why he hired a male tutor for Sonal. This was not needed. Shiva says he talked to Ishvar last night and Kiran is indeed a good teacher. Shiva adds Jalwa will check on Kiran and Sonal. Shiva tells Sonal to address Kiran as guruji.
Kiran smiles and crackes joke. Shiva strictly tells him to focus on teaching Sonal only, else he won’t spare him. Kiran nods. Shiva spills juice on his shirt and goes back to change it. Siddhi talks to Ishvar and asks why he didn’t inform her that Shiva came to his house. Shiva comes out of washroom being shirtless. Siddhi feels awkward. Shiva says he didn’t know Siddhi is in room. Latter thanks him for thinking about Sonal’s education.
Sarkar sneaks into Shiva’s house with gifts. He sees Kiran is teaching Sonal. He throws away the books but Siddhi catches them. Siddhi scolds him for disrespecting books. Sarkar goes towards Sonal but Siddhi comes in between. Sonal gets scared seeing Sarkar. Mangal tells Siddhi to back off as Sarkar wants to talk to Sonal. Siddhi stands firm saying she won’t move. Mangal provokes Shiva to stop Siddhi as Akkabai is already angry with him. Shiva comes to Sarkar and the latter recalls how Shiva beat him last time.
