The episode starts with Ishwari recalling Suhana’s words. She complaints about Sonakshi not caring about it too. Ishwari decides to follow Pandit’s words about name change. Mamiji agrees with her. Ishwari calls Pandit and finalizes the name change pooja the next day. Next day, Ishwari waits for everyone to leave the house and looks worriedly at time. Dev and Suhana leave to school and Sonakshi is still serving Ayush and Shubh. Ishwari is waiting for Sonakshi to leave too. Sonakshi too leaves for her work. Mamiji calls Pandit to come for Pooja.
Ishwari and Radha are arranging for pooja and Baldev asks what’s going on here. Radha says that Ayush name change pooja is happening and he asks whether Dev and Sonakshi know about it. He scolds her for arranging without informing them. Ishwari comes to him and Baldev scolds her for the pooja too. Ishwari says she’s the elder and she knows what’s right for her children. She compels him for the same but Baldev doesn’t get convinced. Ishwari comes to Ayush’s room and informs him about his name change pooja. Ayush recalls Sonakshi promising him that no one will change the name. He asks her to call Sonakshi but she says they will but after pooja. Ayush pleads her and says he don’t want to Chand the name. Ishwari recalls him what his grandparents said to him on video call. She reminds him about them asking him to consider them his family and listen to elders. She convinces him to listen to her.
Ishwari comes down with Ayush and makes him sit on pooja. Pandit calls for his parents but Ishwari says that they can’t attend the Pooja and sits in their place. Sonakshi forgets a File and is on her way back home. When she’s on her way, Bijoy calls her home for work and she leaves there. Ayush eagerly waits for Sonakshi while Baldev looks on worried. Dev is at Ayush’s school and principal says about Ayush’s name issue. Dev is fine with it. Ayush’s name change pooja gets completed and his name changed to Ved. Radha gives him gift while Ishwari feeds his sweet. Ayush pushes away both and runs away. Ishwari gets worried but Radha assures her that everything will be fine in sometime. They both are worried for Sonakshi’s reaction.
Vicky gets ready to leave and asks Elena to join but Elena says she wants to stay home. Vicky bids her bye while Elena feels unsafe in her own place. She finds her favourite earring missing and feels like someone visited her room. The stalker texts Elena and she replies him with her picture. Ishwari calls Dev and says about performing name change pooja for Ayush. Dev gets frustrated and asks why did she do it without informing them. Ishwari’s firmly believes that she did right and asks her to convince Sonakshi so that she doesn’t create drama in front of Ayush. Dev is at tea stall and Sonakshi comes there thinking it to be a date. Dev explains the situation to get and Sonakshi is heartbroken. She wants to rush to Ayush as she failed to keep her promise. Dev asks her to accept it as it happened as Ishwari doesn’t want to be hated by Ayush. Sonakshi asks what about hey and asks won’t Ayush hate her for not keeping promise. He blames him for failing to be a good husband or father and says she won’t return home anymore.
Precap : Dev assures Ayush that his name will be Ved Ayushman Dixit and they both hugs crying. Dev calls Sonakshi asks Shubh cries missing her.
