The episode starts with Deepika telling Diya that Arjun used to enjoy a lot during Durga Puja. He used to do Dhunuchi dance with his father and brothers. She looks upset and Diya assures her saying this year Arjun will attend the puja and will dance too. Karan’s men eat prasad outside and discuss how to execute the plan. One of them tells the other to find the main switch so that they can attack Diya easily. Kush suspects them asks who are they. They lie to him that they are from generator service. Later they try to execute their plan as soon as possible.
Arjun talks to Dr Gupta for Diya’s diet chart and Diya enters his room. Diya says she can’t eat anymore diet food. That’s enough. Arjun says she needs to gain weight as she is underweight right now. Diya gets happy and says she can do it easily. Arjun allows her to eat one sweet. Diya gets upset later she asks him why didn’t wear ethnic clothes today like yesterday. She shows him some clothes which she bought for him. She says he can wear them during Asthami and Dhunuchi dance. Arjun gets angry and says who told her to buy all this. He won’t attend the puja and he brought the idol doesn’t mean he will listen to her everytime. She should not focus on being a good wife and daughter in law but she should focus on badminton. Niharika overhears that and thinks Diya couldn’t convince Arjun to attend the puja yet. She gets happy. Arjun tells Diya not to force him to do all these. Diya says she won’t say anything but he will come on his own which surprises Arjun.
Karan thinks his plan can backfire so he calls his men and tells them to come back. One man says they already set everything up and plan is ready. They will break Diya’s legs so that she doesn’t join the camp. Karan says if they succeed he will give them double amount of money. Diya talks to Dadi and Deepika and says she has a plan by which Arjun will attend Puja. Deepika gets nervous but Dadi agrees. Diya tells Dadi to convince Madhuri to support their plan. Dadi tells Madhuri and she gets convinced as it’s about Arjun’s attendance. Tina hears that and Dadi welcomes her. Tina tells Madhuri that Diya is doing so much for her then why cant she accept her with badminton. Madhuri says never. She adds she won’t accept Diya with badminton but she is happy Diya cares for Arjun. Tina decides to inform Arjun about Diya’s plan so that he gets mad at her.
Diya tells guests to wait in garden area and send other people there too. Karan’s goon also wait outside. Tina thinks how to inform Arjun about the plan. Diya sees her and tells her to talk slowly else Arjun will hear. Diya tells her to go with her until Arjun comes to the Puja mandap. Tina gets irked.
