At the beginning of the episode, Geetanjali tells Sandhya and Chitra that now both of them need not worry as they have got a new maid. Aarav feels bad hearing this. He goes to Simar and asks her if she really wants to do this. Simar says that she had come here only to take responsibility for her in-laws, so from now on for the next four days every single day will be dedicated to her in-laws.
Aarav leaves from there in anger. Simar tries to convince him. She wants him to understand her point. Aarav tells that they want to make her the maid of this house and he believes that they want to make her life hell. Here Geetanjali asks Reema to prepare a long list of tasks. Simar tells Aarav that her mother has also done household chores throughout her life and that many women do household chores. So there is nothing bad in it.
Geetanjali tells Reema that tomorrow is the festival of Makar Sankranti and as always they will celebrate this festival tomorrow. She asks Reema to invite guests to the festival. So that she can also see how Simar will handle so many tasks. Simar, on the other hand, tells Aarav that she has got a chance to win the hearts of the family members. She adds that earlier Geetanjali didn’t even want her to come out of her room but today she has given her the responsibility of the house and what can be a better thing for her than that.
Vivaan overhears everything. He tells Reema that it was his decision to bring Aarav and Simar to this house and if she goes against his brother, it will mean that she has gone against her husband. Then he goes to Simar and tells her that the people of this house are conspiring against her. Simar asks him not to pay attention to these things and asks what he wants to eat for dinner today. Aarav and Vivaan are shocked. Simar tells them that they can tell her about this later as well.
Then she goes to the kitchen and does the kitchen puja and prepares breakfast for everyone. She then goes to Geetanjali and gives her tea. Geetanjali gives her some of her clothes to wash and warns her not to let anything go wrong with these clothes. Simar understands her point. Here Reema and Chitra are planning against Simar. Just then Simar comes there. Reema asks if she was listening to her. Simar refuses and gives them tea.
On the other hand, Sandhya tells Gajendra that the atmosphere in the house has deteriorated so she should get the puja done. Gajendra then shows her pictures of some boys. Simar comes there to give them tea and tries to talk to them. While Reema pours tea on Geetanjali’s clothes to trouble Simar.
