At the beginning of the episode, Aditi says that Gagan just left two minutes ago and she has already started missing him. Then she gets some smell from the kitchen. She goes to the kitchen and sees that the khichdi is burnt. She informs Simar that the khichdi is burnt. Simar gets shocked hearing this. She sees the condition of the khichdi. Aditi says that maybe the khichdi is burnt from the bottom. Here Sandhya is distributing sesame ladu to everyone. Shobha asks her for the Ladoo which is made of white and black sesame seeds.
Here the guests are waiting for the food. They ask Reema to sit with them too but Reema refuses. Simar on the other hand thinks about what will she do now. She says that she cannot send the guests from here on an empty stomach. Aditi feels that all this is the fault of the elders of her house because they have given her so much work to handle. Aarav and Vivaan come there and ask Simar if the khichdi is ready. Aditi tells them that the khichdi has burnt due to the high flame.
Vivaan says if they don’t serve food then there will be a mess. Aarav thinks that he should call Ganesh restaurant and get khichdi. Simar does not like his idea. Aarav explains to her that they have to get food for the guests. He calls Ganesh restaurant and orders khichdi. But the owner of the restaurant informs him that such orders are placed a day before as he cannot prepare khichdi for now.
Aarav gets disappointed. Here Reema also calls the restaurant and gets Khichdi ordered. She asks them to send some waiters too. Here Sandhya enters the kitchen and is shocked to see the forged khichdi. Simar says that she will prepare the food once again. Sandhya tells her that they do not have much time. They have to do something as soon as possible. Sandhya asks God to help Simar as she does not want Simar to lose the challenge and be thrown out of this house.
Simar then looks at the bread packet and remembers how her mother once taught her that when khichdi gets burnt, she has to put it in another pot and cover it with bread so that the smell of burning goes away. Here Aarav and Vivaan try to distract everyone. While Geetanjali Devi asks them why Simar has not brought khichdi yet. Reema thinks that soon Simar’s game will end soon.
She asks Geetanjali if she can arrange food for the guests. Geetanjali says yes. Reema asks the waiters to accompany her. Aarav and Vivaan go to the kitchen and ask Simar if the khichdi is ready. She answers yes while Roma says that she still senses a little burning smell. Sandhya applies asafetida tempering to the khichdi so that a good aroma comes out of the khichdi. Simar gets happy seeing this.
