The episode starts with Chirag and Ashi lies on their place followed by Mithila Minal Gopika and Saksham. Ashi asks are they going to sleep together and tells she never slept like this before. Mithila and Minal looks at each other. Ashi asks Chirag to increase the fan speed but the latter says its already in full speed. Gopika tells Saksham that they have to repair the fan the next day. Saksham agrees. Ashi complains when mosquitoes bite her. She tells she dont think she can able to survive the night. Chirag asks Ashi to stop complaining and tells that he will do something and goes from that place. He then returns and everyone goes to sleep. A mouse enters the house. It goes nearby Saksham first but he turns the other side. Gopika also turns when it goes near her. Mithila and other family members also does that when the mouse goes near them when they are asleep.
At some point Ashi opens her eyes and gets shocked seeing the mouse is near her. She starts screaming which makes everyone wake up. She tells there is a mouse. They all gets scared and runs here and there. Gopika goes to take something but Saksham stops her and asks her not to leave the house for the mouse. Gopika tells she is not leaving infact she is going to catch the rat. She also asks everyone to calm down saying they are scared of the mouse and the mouse is scared of them. She then takes a cage to catch the mouse. She asks Ashi to bring roti. Chirag asks Ashi to cook roti fast and the latter scolds him saying she wont.
Gopika reminds them about the roti they had. Ashi tells she thrown her part of the food in dustbin so urges Chirag to take it from there. Mithila scolds Ashi for throwing food in the dustbin. Gopika gets succeed in catching the mouse. She then gives it to Chirag and asks him to leave it outside. Chirag tells he will do it the next day. Mithila asks Ashi to learn something from Gopika who is sensible enough to bring a solution to this problem instead of screaming like her. Gopika reminds Ashi how they caught a mouse during their childhood days but Ashi tells she spent her life outside this slum so she don’t remember anything.
Ashi sees the hole in the house. She tells the family members they may catch one rat but there are many holes in the house so once again the rat will enter the house. Gopika gets an idea. She takes a saree and tear it. Mithila reminds her that they dont have much saree and asks why she is tearing it. Gopika tells that they can buy another saree in future but tonight they need a good sleep because they all are tired from the work they done throughout the day so the torn saree pieces will prevent the rat from entering the house and gives everyone the torn cloth piece to fill the hole.
Ashi tells that she think the mouse will eat the saree piece and enter their house. Saksham signs Gopika and the family members goes to sleep meanwhile Ashi tells that one of us has to stay awake inorder to stop the rat from entering the house and asks who it is but gets shocked seeing everyone has taken their place on their bed. They all tells Ashi she can stay awake but the latter refuses and goes to sleep. The next day Modi’s wakes up hearing a noise. Ashi gets upset and shouts at those who are creating such loud sound. Mithila scolds her. They all goes out to see what the commotion is.
Ashi asks one of the person why there are so many people everywhere is there is any celebrity came to the slum. Gopika goes inside and brings a bucket with her. She tells the Modi’s inorder to survive they have to do all whatever the society people are doing and goes to the water tank and fools everyone and get a spot in the front. She calls Ashi. Ashi refuses but goes there. Gopika asks Ashi to not ti leave this place. She then goes to the vegetable seller and calls Saksham who goes to her. She asks him not to leave this place. She then asks Chirag to bring bag and money. Chirag does what Gopika asked her to. She asks Saksham and Chirag to buy the vegetables. Gopika takes Mithila and Minal to stay in the queue to use the bathroom. They both obliges.
Ramila tells someone on the call the room has all the facilities but per day the rent is thousand rupees. She then tells that she can’t wait to turn this Modi’s house as a hotel and earn money out of it which can help her buy branded clothes and other things which is branded. Ashi gets stuck between two ladies who fights with each other. Saksham and Chirag struggles to cope up with the people around them to buy vegetables. Gopika gives Mithila and Minal a bucket of water to each one of them and asks them not to leave the queue. Ashi gets frustrated standing between the ladies so she decides to leave the place. Chirag goes and stops Ashi. Both Chirag and Ashi gets into an argument with the ladies there. Saksham asks the seller to give him vegetables and he gives hundred rupees. The seller fools him without giving him change then leaves the place.
Gopika gets shocked learning Saksham get fooled. Saksham feels guilty but Gopika realises that the Modi’s are not used to this so it’s her responsibility to teach them slowly how to survive this. She assures Saksham that he will learn she is here to teach him. Chirag and Ashi tells the water is over. Gopika takes them to the vehicle and without anyone’s knowledge she gets four bucket of water. Saksham and Chirag praises Gopika.
Later Gopika tells the family members that they have to save the water so they have to use less amount of water and tells them not to use more than four cup of water which makes Minal to talk about their sudden misery. Gopika tells Minal and everyone they are together in this and they will go through this soon. Gopika thinks about all the recent happenings and prays to God that because of her brother only the Modi’s are going through this so seeks God to give her and the Modi’s a strength to survive this life.
Precap: Munna tells Rajjo and others that he wont let the Modi’s live a peaceful life. He goes to meet the Modi’s and gives them an invitation then leaves. Saksham throws the invitation out of the house. Munna’s men dances infront of the Modi’s. One of them tells that Munna is planning to conduct an auction to sell the house which shocks the Modi’s.
