The episode starts with Pallavi, and Jaydev is in a restaurant. They both look sad seeing other people with family members. Both Deepika and Tanvi arrive there, which makes them both happy. They then cheer for Jaydev’s retirement. Both Pallavi and Jaydev have a conversation about the former’s marriage. Pallavi refuses to get married. She pleads with Jaydev to understand her perspective about marriage. She also says that just like how he took care of his daughter’s, she wants to take care of him. She further talks about both Deepika and Tanvi’s life has been changed after they both get married even if they wish they are forced not to spend life with him. She can’t forgive herself if she has to go through the same as her sisters. Jaydev tries to make her understand the importance of marriage and also says that Pallavi is being stubborn, not sensible or reasonable. Pallavi gets annoyed, so she argues with Jaydev. She further shouts at the waiter, too. Jaydev gets upset.
Later, Pallavi watches the video of her mother, Aastha, who recorded it before she died. She talked about Jaydev being an orphan before she entered his life. She also worries after she leaves the world and will take care of Jaydev and her daughters. Jaydev arrives there and says to Aastha that he won’t let the latter leave him, but Aastha tells him he should accept the reality about her time left in this world. They both share a hug. Pallavi gets emotional watching the video and promises Aastha to take care of Jaydev.
Pallavi sees Jaydev is struggling with his shirt, so Pallavi helps him. She also refuses to give into his request to marry her, so Jaydev remains mad at her. Pallavi gives him a retirement gift and makes Jaydev have his medicine, then leaves the place. Jaydev gets happy hearing the voice from the tab, which is Aastha’s. He decides to search for a prospective groom for Pallavi, but the reminder informs him to go back to sleep. Jaydev obliges. Meanwhile, Pallavi complains to Ruchi about Jaydev, forcing her to get married. She then goes to check upon Jaydev. She sees him sleeping so leaves. Jaydev wakes up and starts using the tab to search for the groom for Pallavi.
The next day, Pallavi makes arrangements for Jaydev’s morning routine and then leaves for her presentation. She has a video call with her sisters. She requests them to check upon their father until she returns. Both of them tell her that they will try.
Varun surprises Deepika with a cake. He then asks her to ask for money from her father to start business, but Deepika shouts at him and then leaves for work. Meanwhile, Pallavi reaches at her workplace. She assures her boss that she will impress their clients and then meets Ruchi. They both work in the kitchen with others. She realises she didn’t check up on Jaydev, so she calls Deepika, who says that she is busy. She talks to Tanvi and learns the latter is busy too, so she seeks Monty’s help to check upon Jaydev.
Pallavi gets worried, so she looks distracted during the presentation, which Ruchi notices, so decides to help Pallavi. Pallavi thanks her and then requests her boss to let her go home. Her boss approves, so she reaches the house but fears to open Jaydev’s room door.
Precap: Pallavi slaps a guy in the bar and learns about Jaydev’s involvement behind her meet-up with the guy, so she demands Jaydev to delete her profile from the website, but Jaydev challenges her. Later, Pallavi’s new boss fires her from the job.
